Bethesda has just released nine direct feed 1080p screenshots for Fallout 4. Go check them out after the break.... Fallout 4 - Official 1080p Screenshots
hmm same engine and game play but I will explore this game also till I get tired of opening/closing all the drawers again. The trailer seems impressive enough and a bigger change than from 3 to new vegas at least which is to be expected from an entire new number.
But these are 725x408 Full res here http://www.gamespot.com/articles/check-out-fallout-4-1080p-screenshots-from-the-deb/1100-6427822/ Tried to find an imgur gallery but couldn't yet here's some with familiarish characters for comparison though Spoiler First one seems to show an android as well
Hopefully built on the experience from that cause it definitely had a smoothness the fallout series missed.
Or complete physics breakdown when your FPS gets too high. I can't load this game stock without the cart you ride on at the start flying 300 miles into the air.
The android concept is cool, can't remember seeing that in fallout before. I have just played 3 and new vegas though.
It's never really been in it as far as I recall. Was in some of the background lore for F3 (one particular quest) and in the design documents for van buren btw, here's a map showing locations in the trailer mapped to google maps, so you can see a rough overview of the game area, or at least part of it since the trailer shows mountain regions http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net..._Map_V2.png/revision/latest?cb=20150603162138
Eh, not too bad for Skyrim. Scaled well across 2 cores at least, that's more than what it needed. Now Oblivion on the other hand, ewww. Hopefully this will use an updated version of the engine though that can scale across more than 2 cores, and have access to an updated API.
From what I hear, they're going to be using the Void Engine. They describe it as "Void Engine Powered by Id Tech" So possibly some modification of ID5?
Good lore in fallout. I'm sure I would enjoy fallout despite if they had introduced major stutter nightmare glitches to their next gen engine. The apocalyptic concept is one that I find very top notch atmospheric. Can't wait to play it.
Looking it up just states that it's a new engine, so might be a variation of the ID Tech engine, or a whole new one based on ID Tech. Now the name was trademarked in 2013. http://www.gamespot.com/articles/fa...-company-trademarks-void-engine/1100-6416178/
Yeah in the trailer they kept showing flash-backs to the day the bombs went off. This looks to be a definite pickup for me.
