As much as I love Fallout 3, yes, it is bug-ridden. Ride the rough and you'll find a pretty cool game

The only mod I really want is the Tau gun from half-life so I can fly around the world

 

That would be pretty badass, I think I've seen it somewhere....

 

I'd chill out man, theres been plenty of people on these forums having the same trouble as Doug; I've got pretty far in the game and still had a few crashes (no mods!). Telling a decent guru like Doug to go back to xbox about this is pretty unfair.

While the fact it works for many shows the game can be enjoyed, people here have to accept that there have been crashes for a number of people.

You can't say "it works for me so it isnt broken" nor can you say "it doesnt work for me, its completely broken"; the prevalence of crashing suggests their may well still be bugs in the codebase - I mean it is a huge game after all, working on a variety of systems.
