Looks very interesting game. Love the tech and setting up a base.

I know the pictures are rather large but I don't know how to make them smaller. Oh well.

Got hold of this game a few months ago and boy does it get under your skin, it's insane how many times you can redesign a base just to make it a little more efficient or so that it processes a resource in a different way.

Anyway the game is still in early access and can only be purchased direct from the developers, new Aplha builds seem to pop up on a fairly regular basis and I belive their are currently tweaking Alpha 12 to get it bug free as possible for it's release to Steam Early Access.

Only downside I've found so far is it has no clear end game structure (though it is being developed and the creators keep the folks updated on what's happening) and their is no alternate path to success, i.e if you choose to co habit with the Aliens you can't complete the game since the end game techs require you to kill the Alien hives to extract resource from them.

A few images from my current build

I got sort of stuck and bored at new hope level 3, no base just defense attack and went to make my own level

Been having loads of fun, trying now to get plastics set up to lower my pollution with modules and offloading my power into solar and accumulators

and a passive radar, no pollution or power consumption from the main network

Been waiting for the official nuclear power option. The old coal steam power / solar panel setup just required way to much space and resource for end game massive bases. Looking forward to trying this update out.

Now, tbh, I think there was already more impressive than music computers in the game, what I want to see is this

    https://vimeo.com/194998367

    Different song

    [IMG][IMG]

With the actual music being played in game and not post effect

Graygoo was super impressive though, every update makes circuits run faster pretty much. Person who made it was working on one that detects water and can handle enemies next

Factorio goes version 1.0 on Friday August 14th 2020
    https://factorio.com/blog/post/fff-349

    The 1.0 plan
In FFF-321 we announced a release date for version 1.0. Given recent events we have decided to make an amendment to the date of 1.0.
The new date we are aiming for is Friday August 14th 2020, which is 5 weeks earlier than the original date.

The main reason to change the release date is the release of Cyberpunk 2077. In January this year, CD Projekt Red announced a delay to the release of Cyberpunk 2077, to September 17th, 1 week before our Factorio 1.0 launch. We think any release close to such a monumental game is going to feel some negative effects, such as everybody playing and covering Cyberpunk and taking attention away from other games.

So we thought it was best to try release either before Cyberpunk or quite a while after it.
