I'd give this a buy (price depending).

Fable LC on pc is a bit dated looking by now.

First off: that price is a little steep. Secondly: "Prepurchase to receive DLC Pack 1" ??? What did they do... rip **** from the game and decided to charge extra? Good Lord!! Nowadays, just once I would like to get a full complete game at release!

yeah... usually when you "remaster" a game, such as tomb raider, the last of us, etc you give ALL the DLCs/expansions with it.

The game did not get very good reviews on the Xbox 360, mainly because all that has been updated is the actual graphics (it now uses Unreal Engine 3, I believe, so uh-oh...) and everything else has been left as it was before so you still get the numerous loading screens and the clunky animations. It's a shame that more effort wasn't put into the remaster. It is currently £21 on Steam but I think I will wait until it is on sale before buying as I don't think it warrants that price tag personally.

I really enjoyed Fable, fond memories. I actually played through it again a couple months ago, being as evil as possible.

While I'd like to try the "remastered" version, not sure I can justify spending the money on it. Doesn't seem that it offers much new.

    I LOVED THE ORIGINAL FABLE!!!!!!!

I do think it is too much for it though, I've been using SweetFX with it and that's been keeping me good. Want to try ENB with it, but haven't had too much time to.

The game can be preloaded now, it's around 9 GB.

    Also.

Only able to change art and animation but it's still something though changing the core game data itself doesn't seem possible from the way it's worded.
(Such as creating new levels or modding scripts and other features/functions.)

    Released. :)

EDIT: Config files are located at C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\WellingtonGame\Config

Seems to work with GeDoSaTo and the menu controls are pretty bad. :p
(A key accepts and B key cancels, gamepad setup I suppose.)

I just don't see why the price is set where it's set...It is really nothing more than an updated Fable! There's no new missions, addons, or even coop! Since Fable III has been taken down on PC, I really think this is something this game would benefit massively from!

Looks like the scarring system is as unforgiving as it was in the original game, took a arrow hit while fighting some bandits during the final training and my face has this large gash across it now, heh I don't remember if those could be healed. :D

Dear lord, the FMV in this game is absolutely dreadful with macro-blocking galore!

Well it is the original videos (And voiceovers.) from the games first release in ~2004 or so, yeah they don't look good at all.

Ah, nostalgia...was playing original Fable back in 2004...10 years ago...on Xbox...one...1...first?!!! What an idiot came up with the idea that naming 3rd-gen Xbox "One" would be a good thing?!

    Interesting decision there.
