not to defend Webber, but the team told them both that they will finish the race in the order they are in after last pit stop, they were told to bring it home and not to race, then Vettel back stabbed him.
I am kind of in between..yea he didnt follow team's request but then again it is all about racing and overtaking. Webber has let Vettel go pass him few times. Bit disappointed by Lotus but then again you cant win every race. Finish Top 6 + few wins here and there and who knows maybe Kimi will get his second title!
You cant blame Webber for that. I actually think he handled the situation very well considering what Vettel did. Feel sorry for him as he had the edge over Vettel all race.
can't remember that one, but did the team tell both drivers in Brazil 2012 not to race? I don't have a problem with people being racey. I have a problem with Vettel in this case because he was told not to race, so was Webber. Webber was cruising home and next thing he has Vettel all over him. He must have thought wtf is going on? If Vettel wanted to go for the win, he should have told his team that he's going for the win and he'll try to pass Webber. Then the team should have told Webber that Vettel will race him, against the team's will. Then Webber would have been prepared for it. It was a clear back stab and Vettel apologized, but I think it's too little too late. Arrogant jumped prick who thinks he's bigger than the team that enabled him to win the championship 3 times!
team told Mark he was safe from Vettel. Vettel decided to overtake. it was a massive back stab. Like I said, if Vettel wanted to disobey his team, he should have told them to let Mark know that he's going for the win. That way it would have been fair. But Webber was cruising on lean mix, preserving his tyres and next thing he knows he has Vettel all over his backside. I do want team mates to race each other too. but it has to be fair. they have to be both prepared to race each other. Vettel made his own rules today, not cool. On the other hand, Rosberg should have been 3rd today, he was at least 2 seconds a lap faster than Hamilton and would easily have passed him without risking anything.
He actually let him pass, he pulled out of turn 4 and let Vettel go, then showed him the finger. Vettel knew he fecked up, it was obvious after the weigh in that there was massive tension and Vettel looked nervous because he knew he wasn't fair. oh well, bring on China!!!
yea, sorry, i missed that part as i was typing something on the laptop. I actually thought he missed their garage. lol.
thinking more about it, Webber wasnt in the race mode really. He was taking it easy. He was like 4.5 secs ahead of Vettel few laps before it happened. Agree with Eclap it was a backstab. I do feel sorry for Webber. Hopefully Seb will get penalised by the team. That was eventful face! Lewis going ot the wrong garage, Kimi losing his cool with Hulkenberg. China in 3 weeks. So long
I can certainly understand where webber is coming from, like hell did vettel not know about the team orders, more like he didn't give a toss and he was racing for himself instead of racing for the team! I don't hold vettel in such high regard as I once did, not after what he did in that race that's for sure.
It's not racing if the other guy has been told to not race. Dick move by Vettel. Felt bad for Rosberg. Sounded like Hamilton wanted to let Rosberg through, too. That entire podium was one big cluster****.
Yea podium was well awkward. Fair play to Rosberg tho.Lets hope that it wont happen again. I want to see Button, Kimi and Massa on podium in China!

almost all news i read on F1 is about RBR doing PR damage management on SV's move on MW. lol. but tbh, i think RBR really wanted SV to take 1st, they just didn't tell it over the radio or have given SV another order.. poor MW..
