Some sad news ...... One of the Marshall in the race got killed today when a crane ran over him while returning Gutierrez's Sauber after the race. Thoughts with his family and friends. These guys are true motorsport heroes... R.I.P
That is sad news! Lotus needs to get back to the front of the grid, really poor performance all weekend.
Red Bull looking strong in practice, both in terms of qualifying pace and Race pace...... Im expecting one sided Race BTW is it me or last few posts in this thread seems to be dissapeared ?
Security issue a couple of weeks ago...Hilbert had to load a backup of the forum from a couple of weeks before the hack.
Thanks for clearing that up ....... Anyways im once again dissapointed with Webbers problem with the car .... Between him and vettel i think its 9 out of 10 times something goes wrong with his car :bang:
the new tyres are more durable. Merc will likely dominate the rest of the season with the current team balance unless every race we have left is done at near 40°c like hungary
Don't think that will be the case, red bull are still faster on high downforce circuits and faster in general. Hamilton only won today because he dispatched of Button a lot faster than Vettel. Great job Kimi holding Vettel behind him. Couldn't see that happening with 10 laps to go. Vettel... what a child.
I don't know, why pick him when his team mate beats him? This could also mean that Vettel is going to stay at red bull, no way want they lose him to Ferrari next year without having a replacement. Although, maybe we'll see Vettel to Ferrari and Alonso to red bull.
I think Kimi better off at Lotus. He can do whatever he wants, no marketing bullcrap, he is clearly number 1 driver. Plus we dont know what will happen with red bull with new engines. Great drive by him today. I didnt think he would hold Vettel off. It was sad to watch it on TV knowing i was there last year
were you? I come from not that far from Budapest (couple of hours drive) but never been to F1 there Depends on what Kimi wants. If he just wants to race for the fun of it, Lotus is perfect, not a top car, but he never felt the need to prove himself by breaking records. He drives for fun. Lotus will have to stay on top of his salary though. If he wants a challenge though, he might want to go to Red Bull. I do have a feeling that Red Bull will have a good season this year, maybe next year and then they'll fizzle out and we'll see Mercedes and Ferrari on top for a few years (it's bound to happen sooner or later).
Yea it was my first F1 race, it was something special! We sat by turn 6! Yea exactly, he doesnt have to prove anything to anyone but im pretty sure he wants another title. Its a tough one!
Fernando Alonso 'very happy' at Ferrari after Red Bull link Alonso also got his team a 15k penalty for repetitively activating his DRS too early Grosjean got a 20s penalty for the incident with Button, finishing positions remain unchanged. It's funny how FIA penalize Grosjean for that Massa "incident" where he went wide in turn 4. Grosjean was slightly ahead of him when it happened and the only reason why he went off the track was because Massa didn't leave him enough space to stay on track, aka it should have been a penalty for Massa. imo it should not have been a penalty at all, it was brilliant driving from both, but rules are rules and Massa didn't leave space for Grosjean. Grosjean got penalized. Funny, Alonso can activate his DRS whenever he wants and that's a joke 15k penalty? go do one MAFIA.
I thought that G got the penalty because he cut the corner after knocking Button and the time penalty because he hit Button...
