F.E.A.R. singleplayer demo

The singleplayer demo of F.E.A.R. will be released Friday and it will have one singleplayer level.

Multiplayer wasn't very senstational. Lets hope the singleplayer campaign isn't just a copy of Doom 3 and that they'll ad some nice and innovative gameplay elements.

I first was scared that the game would perform like **** on my system, but I was able to play the beta with 20-40FPS with the particle effects on high (everything else low @1024x768). This game is incredibly stable and optimized.

Actually it will. They say their games support DX8 cards. Dont expect 70+ fps with 6 lesbians kissing and a pot of sour cream though.

Sounds really great (so unpleased with BF2). I thought this would be very badly coded game. But how you know it's coming out friday?

Well after reading the info on the website, i will have to say if they go the same route as valve did (online validation), they won't be getting my money, thats for sure, had enough trouble with valves crappy system.
I always said i won't do it again.

Please be adviced that the above statment about valves crappy system is purely my opinion and nothing will make me think different, so please don't flame me about it.

 

I'll be getting it no question about it (unless the demo seriously suck, which i doubt). Cant wait. IMO this is possibly gonna be the best shooter of the year!

I was impressed by the trailer but i think i'll wait till i get some reviews .... if the reviews are good then i'll download it ... hope my rig is not soaked dry by this one too .....
