F-22 Total Air War 2.11 released

A free combat flight sim based upon D.I.D F-22 ADF/TAW.
Although you cant compare the graphic to HAWX/F4/LOMAC/IL2/FSX, the gameplay is still one of the best (in-flight refueling, AWACS mission, etc.) and you cant get more accurate/realistic F-22 simulation anywhere else.
And yes its playable on Windows 7 64-bit.

 

if i'm not wrong the game is not new, it was released back in 1998 or so by "Novalogic", there was also another game that was sold along with it, F-16 Multirole Fighters.

i have both (bought them in 1998) but they do not work anymore in XP or W7.

so i'm going to grab this, thanks, they're amazing (arcadeish) combat games.

 

This is not Novalogic F-22 Lightning series which has arcade gameplay.

The original game can't even install on 64-bit OS but this one play just fine.

OH MY GOSH! u guys dont know this game..This game is EPIC. and MASSIVE. u make huge endless battles..it takes days to finish 1 campaign..Campaign is randomly generated..a big battle..u r one part of it..its realistic but not as LOCON series..u have limited weapons..u have airfield and land them and refuel and rearm..ask for support DYNAMIC CAMPAIGN is what makes this game awesome..suddenly they give u missions..u need to destroy opposite FACTION/COUNTRY..bomb their strategic targets..bomb their airfield, in the next days u gain that airfield in the front lines..u have support of other countries etc...

 

Well Bigtime, people today are used to the crap of games which last 6 hours and bore you to death by half way.

The F-22 ADF was the most epic game i had ever played.
It is the best combat sim ever, and anyone who denies this has no idea about gaming!

I loved that game, i actually asked my father to get it for me somehow, i was young like 12. But it was so nice, to bad i did not had a joystick but yeah...
Now i tried to play total air war with xbox 360 controller... that fails.
I wish some one made a combat sim similar to this with the YF-35

Cake, i think this is a remake..game's developer closed down years ago..maybe this is now ABANDONWARE?

I've been itching for a combat flight sim , may give this one a try...

 

I still have F22 Air Dominance Fighter CD. I have to say that I was rather hard when I was a kid and didn't understand anything. Heck, I even managed to land without landing gears because I didn't know how to bring 'em down. Lots of sparks and smoke but I did it.

 

Total Air War was one of my first air sims.

 

TAW was actually one of my first games. It came in the Big Box with the HUGE manual. I felt like I could fly a commercial 747 after reading that thing. Might download this, give my joystick a new game
