Just bought a EVGA GTX670FTW, but it wont work in my system, system freezes at beginning of POST. So far I have rebuilt my system from scratch & reinstalled the OS. But still no luck.Works fine with GTX460SLI. Sent the GTX670FTW back to scan, who tested it & found no fault(offered me a refund). Has anyone else here tried using a GTX670 with an ASUS M3NHT Deluxe.

    NB: Using latest bios(3401).

It could possibly be a psu issue have you tested it?

Did you clear the CMOS? Other than that I have had problems with the latest BIOS's on my ASUS motherboard not accepting flashed 6950's so it may be a mobo problem but I wouldn't put stock in it.

It may just be time for a new board. In experience servicing PCs with the nForce chipset boards, they do have problems like this..where a otherwise new, perfect video card will just fail to POST video for no apparent reason.

I'm sure its not what you want to hear... there is a reason they are no longer making chipsets...

....and the reason is not that, it's because they were sued, and dissolved the chipset division and moved on with Tegra.

Soon as nVidia started developing a chipset for Core i3, i5 and i7 processors....Intel stepped in to stop them claiming it wasn't part of their original agreement.

Not really looking to change mobo/cpu/ram till next year. But I hear what you're saying.Might have to look at ATI.
