sorry guys i don´t see this before, have any method to add the profiles entry to "force" the game try use resize bar? example, f1 2021 don´t have this, but f1 2020 have, that´s very weird

Honestly screw Nvidia for not enabling this on at least RTX 2000 series GPUs. Every part of my system supports Rebar (CPU, MoBo) except my 2080 Super.

yeah, he don´t enabling even on games supporting this on rtx 3000 too, sure the rtx 2000 series have the same support than rtx 3000, but nvidia don´t want do

I found it by Googling “Nvidia profile inspector” then going to the GitHub link (which wasn’t the top result iirc). On github you can navigate to releases then download the application. It’s probably in a zip file there.

 

Though rBAR effects are really mundane on Nvidia. FH4/5 are almost the only games where performance increase might be noticeable, in 99% of other games it's not. And you can also see platform specific issues with rBAR in AMD driver threads.

 

I myself found that lots of VR games seem to benefit from Resizable BAR. It's often the difference between unplayable and playable on a high-resolution VR headset that has to have a constant framerate that matches the headset's refresh rate.

 

I can't judge VR. I can only say that I haven't seen any stutter decrease with any non-VR game and rBAR. More like the opposite, as rBAR seems to increase VRAM usage in some titles and games like Watch Dogs Legion aggressively discard VRAM allocations the more VRAM they use. Same goes for Fortnite, stutters worse with rBAR on.

 

This is very interesting. Which games did you notice the biggest improvement on?

I understand your frustration, but you're seriously not missing much on nvidia.

 

Nobody is seriously missing much without rebar on anything but the Intel's A380 - where you're missing a lot in any case.

What VR games and what headset and software? And are you setting rBAR for the VR server software also (SteamVR, Oculus Runtime, VD, etc)?

 

Wrong. I gained 15% for free in FH5 demo with RX 6800.
