Could be my next monitor upgrade depending on if I continue with AMD or try Nvidia next, has most of the requirements I wanted (Primarily that's 120hz or above and 25" or larger with 2560x1440 or 2560x1600 depending on aspect ratio, Free or G sync is nice but not essential.) Ezio makes good screens too so all that remains is seeing what this will cost here in local stores. :D

The notification feature is actually pretty cool. I've been yelled at numerous times by the GF for missing her call or text message while gaming.

Oh look an amazing gaming monitor except for one huge glaring mistake. It's 27 inches instead of 24. Meh, Guess I'll just keep waiting for OLED to become mainstream for monitors.

Puny monitors are for people who like pressing their nose up against the screen.

I was calmly waiting for that AOC with 160Hz freesync 1080p 24''.
But this got me interested. Last thing I am missing here is price tag, and passive 3D which on this resolution is perfect.

I'll still wait for HTC Vive to see if that's it and then I'll pick one of those nice screens as addition.
But if someone makes This particular screen and puts 3D FPR on it, I am sold. Big disappointment from LG not to deliver their great passive 3D technology to gaming 1440p screens with freesync.

I want to get rid of my surround setup, and go back to a single screen, but after having such as massive FOV for so long, I need something wide

What's wrong with 27"? It's great! No more looking close to the screen and at 1440p too.

I wonder if they will make a GSync version of this. Still won't be good enough until they ALL get better black levels. Was hoping for Eizo to do another VA monitor.

    Holy grail or massive fail?
I'd wait for some reviews before buying one, and I don't expect them to be cheap.

Unless this has a very good price tag I'll continue holding my breath for OLED monitors. Too bad modern plasma monitors didn't become a thing.

Still, it's a step in the right direction. And for any game which your GPU can't push 144 frames there's always double vysnc.
