    We've shown it at computex already click here yet ECS is showing their ECS X79R-AX motherboard. The Platform is obviously intended for Socket LGA 2011 Sandy Bridge-E processors. Have a peek click on...

    - Front USB 3.0 at the bottom of the board = bad location
    - PCI-E Slot 1 seems WAY to close to the CPU Socket which will result in bad compatibility with large Air Coolers.
    - 3/4 Way SLI/Xfire. Sure, but the Post LEDs will be covered up, aswell as the Power and Reset Switch.

    Typical example of a poor Layout.

    i actually like the look of the board...the usb thing is usual for most boards, the pcie slot is very close but water wont be a problem and post led's ...idk who really watches those but i typically do not :) ..if it performs however i think this could very well be my next board.
