    Hello there

Recently my 6800nu broke so i bought a x800 pro.
Now since im running battlefield 2, the dynamic shadows appear like small blocks and are very edgy.
I didnt notice this issue with the 6800.
Is this a common problem with Ati cards and battlefield 2?
Im running the latest official catalyst (5.10).
Any help on this subject is much appreciated.

    Heres how it looks like

well thats how they've appeared for me always, atleast from close range. some shadows look sharp and cool from further away though.

i get the same results with my 850xt-pe. it can be a driver problem that needs a little tweaking.

what you can do is just remove shadows from your settings in battlefield. that works for me.

I didnt mean stencil shadows were blocky, just causes 15-20fps lost fps on my comp. shame as they do look nice.

I've been playing fear, excellent game, i have to knock a few things down in 1024x768, or goto 800x600 full up with x2aa, so i choose the lata. awsome game.

    Just been getting into F.E.A.R

The graphics in this game, Damm, and the sound quality, ouch.

The slowdown feature add's so much to the game. Every bullet makes a mark, or damages something, ragdoll physics, this engine has got everything.

only been playing a short while and its already better then hl2.

You gotta get this game ppl.
