im fine with that. too many games i still need to finish. let the delays flow.. as long as its not canceled, all is well.
no firearms - i dig that. Dying Light concept works well with melee, same as Dead Island. given the obvious explanation in the video above, they still bring ranged weapons so that's also good. i always disliked the idea of fighting zombies\monsters with more than a rusty pistol or a bow, melee was always better executed in those games in my eyes.
Idk about game not having firearms anymore just seems strange by the story and gameplay wise. Also fighting humans is boring i want a city full of undead.
game seemed to play good without firearms as it is not it s strong point anyway meaning the gunplay, it s the melee stuff and the level design that is very nice
Damn ok it looks good. It just reminds me of how much i liked the first game. Oh and yeah we finally heve a release date.
2021 was looking very lean on games to be excited about but this looks great. Loved the first one, loved how much support the developer has given the game over the years, all this game has to do is give me more of the what the first game did and run well and I am sold, oh and just make sure the last boss isn't another BS quick time event.
I'm kinda disappointed. I hoped it would look visually way better , and it would have a lot more gameplay functionality added. It already looks like last gen very much, and when i see it will be released december 7th , it will look far worse compared to other games. I did have a lot of fun with the first game, however i feel this will be released way too late.
To me it looks interesting. The visuals are nice and "inviting" I'm a bit more concerned about gameplay, balancing and difficulty, which were a bit problematic in the first game. If they nail the difficulty and overall playability, it could be an interesting game.
