    Hello all,

Currently have an Asus 144hz monitor and since Nvidia released the update looking to upgrade, but why not just go all the way screw it. So planning on getting a 240hz for CS:GO and QC, I want to run these dual screen but would I be able to run them both at 144hz and 240hz simultaneously? Currently I have a tv as my second monitor, not really a monitor but I just watch movies on it, or play racing games on it but it maxes out at 60hz and also throttles down my 144hz down to 60hz as well.

    TLDR:

If I get a 240hz monitor, will it throttle down to 144hz (both hooked up via DP) if I run them both at the same time? Or can I have two different refresh rates :)

PS PS: Having issues figuring out a 240hz monitor, so much info out there and I wish I could try one but no computer stores where I live, if you don't mind voting or any input

    Thank you Gurus in advance

I wouldn't recommend mixing refresh rates like that. The long term affect on your eyes wouldn't be nice.

Just got my Acer Predator XB272, absolutely fantastic monitor. CSGO @ 240hz, will never go back :)
