Well at least she has the prerequisites for cone of cold and force field. It doesn't take 7 levels to make her useful.

The size of the worlds in Oblivion and Fallout 3 can't really be compared to a game like this. It's quality vs quantity, and it's pretty obvious. Dungeon Siege and Diablo 2? Really? Those games barely had worlds at all. Diablo in particular had one camp for each act and that was it...

Some of the best gear in the game comes from retailers actually. Almost every merchant has at least one item that costs 80-150g. Those items are normally the best or close to the best in the game.

 

move freely mode

hi , haw can i make npcs in move freely mode attack enemy ?
only the archers seems to do that in this mode

i tried everything in tactics like setting aggressive mode and attack enemy when
visible ex .. but melee npcs still stand there doing nothing unless they are in hold
position mode . i want them to guard the areas i make them stand in at move freely
mode but they just stand there doing nothing unless something hits them .:vader:

 

in The Ruined Temple,going after the sacred ashes,think this is going to be long quest with allot of fighting

 

I think you have it backwards. If you have "hold position" on, your characters won't move. They will only attack with ranged weapons. If this mode is on, the button will be a hand symbol.

If move freely is on, your party will move around and attack enemies if they have the proper tactics. The button will be a symbol of a man running.

 

Okay, I've said it and I really mean it I want to give this game a chance I see the potential but I need to know a couple of things.

- If I leave the area I am in now to go get some supplies and return will the guys I have killed respawn, basically will I have to go through all this cr*p to get the the same point again?

- If I go away do some quests get some levels under my belt and return will the bad guys at the temple have respawned and more importently will they have respawned at a higher level?

 

I'm 20 hours in and I've not encountered any respawning.

Ive encountered *random* mobs appearing along paths i have already cleared after returning to an area. Maybe a random pack of bandits or some wild animals.

 

No respwaning here which is good and bad as once everything is dead there is nothing left to fight.

 

Nothing respawns. Also if you encounter a fight that is too hard, you can leave and the enemies will remain the same level.

I just started playing. Thanks for the info, awesome. Its been a wile since I played a game with no respawns

 

With over 80 hours of gameply that you can easyly double if you want to do every single side quest as well you dont really need respawns.
Im only doing the main quest in my first playthrough,the second time abound ill do all the side quest as well.Will be very busy for some time.

 

well if you're looking for a slow way to level up, you could always go for the underground arena in Orzammar

which isn't really a spoiler mind you

 

Just started and I must say...I'm not a fan of the battle system at all. Might have to turn down the difficulty as my 2h warrior sucks.

the developers say in the description, that if you dislike pausing, better use the easy mode (as im doing), altho sometimes i find it so easy...
