    Templar sympathizer, sad. :p

Best tactics is to tank up a warrior, use rogues for flank and hit and run attacks and a mage at a distance.

I love the graphics of the mage attacks. Look so damn good. More convincing than previous DA games.

This is what Dragon age 2 should have been.

I started to play arround with the controller (even though I didn't like it at first) and I'm starting to see that this game is much more enjoyable this way. However the qucik save and quick load buttons do not work when it's enabled. It's so lame that kb/m and controller can't work at the same time. :bang:

344.75 (latest one for my card)
For you it would be 344.80 I suppose.

I've been playing the PC version for the past few days, about 11.5 hours so far and I've reached level 9 on my female Mage character. Generally I've found the PC version to be less buggy and more stable than the PS4 version I have played for 25+ hours. Certainly, I've not experienced any crashes or dialogue tree bugs like on PS4.

However, I am experiencing one annoying issue that only crops up after playing the game for a few hours (usually 2-3 hours) and that is one which causes the game to stutter badly while running around, even to freeze for 1-2 seconds at times. It seems to settle down eventually but still remains juddery and the only way to completely fix it is to exit and reload the game. The game runs smoothly at around 40-45 fps without any juddering at all until that point.

Now I'm playing on maxed out 1920x1200 settings with 4xMSAA and Fade Touch textures, which uses no more than 3.1 GB of my GTX 980's 4 GB of VRAM so there's no issue there. I am using the v344.80 drivers for my graphics card. System memory usage appears to be around 5-6 GB according to Afterburner's OSD with the executable using 750 MB. I have 16 GB of memory so, again, there's no problem there.

This hitching/stuttering almost seems like a memory leak but I see no indication that I'm running out of memory on my graphics card or system. So what is causing this issue? I have Origin's overlay disabled so I can use Afterburner's OSD without it stuttering every 10-15 seconds from the off but could that actually be the cause? Is anyone else experiencing the same issue as I have described after 2-3 hours of continuous play?

I did discover last night that my fixed 5.6 GB pagefile on my boot SSD (which is the size Windows recommends) is not enough for the game as when I created 4 GB pagefiles on my three other separate hard drives for a total of 16 GB (including 4 GB on the SSD) that my loading times actually DECREASED. I was getting annoyed at the 1 minute plus loading times between areas but adding the extra page files seemed to fix that. Now loading times (from a SATAIII hard drive where the game is installed) is about 15-20 seconds!

    I recommend this config

Create file called user.cfg and drop it in the root folder of DA:I install.

When you play with a controller, how do you check monster level?

Go to tactical view and press R3 to switch between enemies. this shows their level and status effects. Or press R3 in normal view to lock on to enemies, which just shows their level and health.

Do you get to keep your Skyhold cosmetic components through subsequent playthroughs, to me it would make sense as it would reward the effort of getting all the bits and it is also just visual.

I wondered if maybe you would keep enemy damage research as well.

Can anyone confirm or deny ( mainly concerned with the first part ) before I spend all my riches on customisation items.

I'm 40 hours in and if you don't keep them for other playthroughs then there is no point in buying them imo.

You'll have to reacquire everything once you start a new character. That includes inquisition perks

I didn't think you would keep those, I thought maybe the monster research though.

I guess it's all throw away stuff then as by the time you have the research the game is done.

It probably unlocks draggon damage research bonus just after you have killed the last dragon.

Am I the only one who is disappointed you can make multiple way points in tactical mode or que up commands?

Just doing the red jenny quest in that french sounding city. in one of the bars theres a girl playing a song, which is a reworked version of the main theme from Dragon Age Origins :D :D :D

also do the sexy times get anywhere near as hardcore as this modded DA:O did?

http://tinypic.com/r/2ueplwm/8 <---- NSFW but a must for everyone who wondered what Morrigan looks like in her birthday suit.
