Man, I hope not. I played all 3 versions, one friend got the 360 and another the PS3 game, neither were nearly as fun to play as the PC version. DA was made for a mouse and keyboard setup! Aslong as a PC game is released with all the features Im happy, even if more time is put into making the console games look nicer.
Heh its quite a long game but you can play it on easy. This way you dont need to micro manage and can fight without pausing. Its a great story and is big. You can start as different characters and each has its own different start to the game. It has a very good skill building system with bonus attributes and lots of ways to improve. You build a rapport with other characters, you build them up as you do yourself and can play as any of them. You get to choose your team after meeting many followers. Those not chosen to be in your team still level up their experience as you play, so less worries. Overall, an A+ game! It uses an overhead camera view which is easily changed with the mousewheel, you pan round with the right mouse button + mouse movements. Control is easy, you can use WASD or point and click. That makes it easy to drink coffee etc and still play I'm playing again but as a Mage this time, only about 24hrs in, great fun. The graphics are pretty good too, all round nice. Theres lots more to tell if I remember.
Despite the flaws the first game had it was pretty good overall and this one sounds like it will be even better than the first....for some reason the pre-order for it was half the usual price of new games ($49aus pre order....I bought DA for $99 ) so I ordered that sucker asap. Good to hear they have a female lead too.
I hope that footage is from an early build beside the fact that it's from the console version. Too short to make any definite opinions but I'll say this much, there is a point where too much gore is ... too much. I also hope they keep the RPG elements as they were in Origins for the PC version, I really don't want a sequel to one of my all-time favourite games to be a ADD kid gore fest hack and slash kind of game.
http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/66316 There will be a little mini-game (As with the first title but this time via the Facebook social network.) to unlock content in the full version when it's released
