The crash with the Radeon software exist with this driver also.
Yeah, I have sent a ticket with the last 3-4 drivers. I hope they get around to it.
Try to close Radeon Settings before play (use Task mgr).
Uncheck Surface Format Optimisation (good for ME:Andromeda many more).
I believe a ticket should exist for Rx 580's experiencing TDR's since 21.01? the effected users have gone back to 20.12.
I'm not aware of that, will check.
What is the purpose of this having access to the internet?
A little report on this driver. Using w10 updated with this driver my 6900xt seems to boost higher and keep a more stable clock during gaming , performance seems to be better than previous drivers also. Tested on Forza Horizon 4 , RDR2 , Star Wars Squadrons , ROTTR and CP2077. No issues or bugs to report. Very good driver and it is a step forward , amd driver team is going into the right direction . No bugs or problems to report.
This has been broken for months, if not years. I've just checked and last time I tried was 10th July last year and I was getting like under 40fps IIRC; before on an old driver (like 2 years ago) it would easily max out my 75Hz refresh rate at 3440x1440.
Given the game's age, I just assumed it would never be fixed
I would like to know what is it's purpose, if anyone knows..
It only showed up here because it has accessed the internet, ignore the ip's
If you stop the service: AMD Crash Defender Service (Found in Services) does the behavior stop?
Guess I'll have to find out.
And going by the look of it port:4843 was opened. Why port 4843 was opened? Mystery...
Do you have AMD Link Server enabled?
It's probably talking to the RadeonSoftware process to report Ryzen CPU metrics. Run 'netstat -abnov' from an elevated command prompt to see what connections and ports are used by each process. You should be able to match up the two processes talking to each other on your machine. This is all local traffic, 127.0.0.1 is the loopback address. It's not open to the internet unless your PC is exposed normally.
Is BFV bug still here?
It doesn't access the internet, its a local server with no WAN access.
you'd be surprised just how many windows services do the same thing.
I'll have to take your word for it, I've blocked it's access for the sake of it.
I actually have no idea what that is, I just installed 21.5.1 and saw this cpu metrics server show up in netlimiter, which from what I'm accustomed to executable only show up there that access the net, I then block depending on what it is.
Not cry about a 3rd party addon not working.
I don't play one game only.
why would you need a new driver for skyrim
Any fix for warzone stutter? Thx im on rx 580
