    You should have tried installing CCC onto the Crimson drivers to see if that will improve performance.

    I would be surprised if that changed anything, this "feature" is on a driver level, nothing to do with a control pannel... and it's not so much a performance issue as it is a clock issue which affects performance, the performance is fine if the clock is at the right speed, clockblocker works for me, and of course i've seen immediate gains (well running as it should be) and even better than with 15.11.1 CCC

    Forget about Crimson for now, guys. It's bugged. Clocks are flutuating for every r9. Go back to CCC or use workarounds to lock full clock (RadeonPro and Clockblock).
