right click on the desktop. choose screen resolution.

    pick the correct one.

    choose advanced settings.

    click on the monitor tab.

    choose correct refresh.

There's probably a limit. Don't know if hardware or software. I can reach 224990 mhz

For those interested, DDU has been updated to support Crimson.
If any left over encountered or problems, feel free to contact me via email or PM.

    Thanks a lot Wagnard.

I've never changed display resolution using CCC. Use Windows.

I noticed not all games produce a Shader Cache. Fallout 4 included. It could be support they add invidually for certain games. Assassin's Creed games don't seem to be supported either.

dunno, perhaps they thought it was redundant because you can do it through windows.

you can install ATI tray tools, or ultramon if you want it back in the system tray.

how many people frequenty switch their desktop res?

I understand for the resolution. But all driver AMD have option to change refresh rate of a monitor like my 144hz monitor. Why it has not be directly integrated in crimson driver like old amd driver ???

Because you can do it in Windows. They might add it later on but I don't see the point.

something is hosed up, i have global and per game OD.

As a side note, its one of the few items you actually have to hit accept changes on.

and you do have to enable it first by accepting the disclaimer.

This "cool feature" (as usual from version to version) doesn't work.

Frame rate limiter works and could be an alternative, but who cares, when you have screen tearing during walkthrough. D3D9 application tested.

Can someone confirm that this works?

    it does work. sometimes.

They follow MS recomended practices which has some odd qualification on when its used.

I get the same error message when I'm going to restart or shut down my PC. But it seems it only happens if I had previously opened the Radeon Settings. This is on Windows 10 1511 x64.
    I'll keep looking into it.

Thanks, Wagnard. You're the man! :)

Wow, that was fast, thanks! Already came in handy as I replaced the leaked driver with the official one just in case.

But if serious, it works? If yes, then in what apps?

    You got me.

There is some talk that it might be OGL only, just like triple buffering.

    Use radeonpro, D3DOverrider, or Afterburner.
