Can't say I like UI much at all.
But I did run via RDP Luxmark to see if there is compute improve.
In heavy batch there is 0% improvement (it sits within margin of error).
In medium batches there is 3.25% improvement.
In Light batches there is 5.1% improvement.

That means driver became more lightweight or allows for better utilization/scheduling of lighter workloads.
That is very important if one wants to reach high fps. For now, I judge this driver as step right direction.

Complete fresh install (DDU first etc) and this is what's offered to be installed.

Well, looks like we're still stuck with AMD Gaming Devolved -_- not impressed.

I also noticed during extraction, there are still many assets from Catalyst so this hasn't really been a "from the ground up fresh driver set".

Looks like CCC Slim gets installed in Program Files x86 whilst CNext gets installed in X64.

Maybe AMD is still working on rewriting switching graphics support.

    Nevertheless .. quite exciting : ) !!

99% of the micro-stuttering from Witcher 3 is gone without using RadeonPro or any 3rd Party APP to decrease it. Especially noticeable in cities and overly crowded areas.

Just for the record also, here's an API Overhead test comparison between 15.11.1 vs Crimson Official.

Oh yes! 3DS Max works again. yay!

    And now something negative....

Why are the video settings so bare bones? Currently I can't force full color range on all my players. WTF?

    EDIT:

Also, no RadeonPro goodness. No Adaptive v-sync option... :s3d:

Stuttering reduced a lot for me too, shader cache optimized for amd and enabled are the same thing?

I'm not sure, I haven't played around with anything yet; haven't looked at the options to see what's missing or what's still there. Still running benchmarks and comparing. So far I am impressed. I think if we compare OMEGA vs CRIMSON (1 year difference), it's a decent jump in performance (say maybe 5% to 10%) even for my GPU (7970 OC) that's brilliant.

Was not expecting this at all but it's moving in the right direction.

Framerate Limit does not seem to work for Fallout 4 menu. Kinda hard to hit stuff with 900fps

Installed this on my laptop, but some options like VIdeo and Performance are still missing. DXVA2 native decoder is still not being installed, even after wiping previous Catalyst with DDU :-/

If you don't want it just uncheck it. We knew they wouldn't implement Raptr features inside the driver.

I have no idea why, but this driver gives me the worst screen tearing I've had in the last year.

Anyone else experiencing this or know why it might be happening?
