    Thanks for your information.

I have this question so I did this post. I just want to make sure that software readings is reliable or not.ex: reading error/polling error/ or something.

And if it is not so reliable, is it including strange readings(+-70 or similar) or not.

Anyway the card was faulty when I first RMA'd, their(Powercolor's) testing said the card did hang in windows 3D and they did some fixs(replaced components on card) for the card.

It passed (their) QC again so I wonder if I can say the driver has issue.

I am really scared by unstable graphic card/drivers.I bought a new PSU as many people will suggest, but no help.

Maybe I should just return the all PC components(CPU/motherboard) I bought from shop and ask a replacement or refund when I first encountered issue instead of waiting new driver release for HD7000 for about 2~3 years.

Now it seems I am still waiting for new driver release.

Also,If you had HD7850 before, then maybe you know there are many issues when HD7000 first released and many driver updates at the era. Especially the xsplit issue, when online gaming stream was just starting.

    Hi
Maybe I will try it but not now.I am still using this card anyway

I got TDRĀ“s with 15.3 and 15.4. (browsing and onetime when I watched video mkv with Mpc-hc 1.7.8)
    No issues with Omega drivers.

    I reported to AMD.

Props to both AMD and Rockstar.
I am more than impressed just how good GTA V runs (15.4 Cata)
And RadeonPro's Tripple buffering makes framerates even smoother.

Some stupid artifacting here and there (reminiscent of an ancient AMD transparent textures ARMA bug)
Although this happens very very rarely.
Also, VSR makes the image quite blurry compared to original resolution.
Not as much as Pillars of Eternity, which is blurfest and unplayable with VSR (damn shame)

But GTA V!!! Bloody hell...looks and runs so good!
Running almost maxed 2560x1440 on single 290. Mostly 60fps locked. 40fps minimum
(no MSAA, shadows Very High, softest; CHS is too sharp and PCSS sometimes tanks)

GTA V run fine on single GPU crossfire is a different story.

CFX 15.4 CAN'T max 1080p here 40-75 fps outside, +100 inside, using 2x290X Lightning at 1150/1600 with full waterblocks and 3770 locked at 4.1 ghz on all cores with water block also..

About Pillars of Eternity try software downsampling GeDoSaTo last version, Durante add DX11 support (only for this game) at 5K it looks amazing here +60 fps locked.

You could change the downsampling res in his specific game settings file.

In your 290 try to use 4K res in PoE with GeDoSaTo.

I tried CRU and I tried Gedosato, and it only confirmed my stance... basically I'm done with fiddling.
Plug'N'Play baby, if it works it works :infinity: if not, it's not worth the trouble.
Afterburner I need, and RadeonPro I can live with. That's it.
Not coming back to these or any other tools.

And 1080p with PoE is nice because my GPU fan doesn't ramp up :3eyes:
My advice to you is plug off CFX (if it doesn't work well) and just enjoy GTA V.

GTA V works with cfx better than with single GPU but it's not performing as it should with 2 GPUs.

I can't make CRU work here, no way.

    I'm not CRU compatible. :D

I forgot PoE is not cfx compatible no matter i do i can't force it to work with CFX.

So your single 290 should get a good frame count with PoE even at 5K with GeDoSaTo.

GeDoSaTo with PoE is as simple as plug and play, download, install, run and it should work with this game, 5K downsampling avalaible res in game.

I tried 8K but it gives me only 24 fps even with GPUs OC so i stay at 5K.

Nope that was not the reason. If you'd read the thread you'd see it was mainly because of the TDR's and the fact it had been RMA's once already.

Besides I was looking at the voltage fluctuation, not the "blips"......

Are these drivers even worth downloading if I have a single 7670m and don't play gta v?

Guess you're running Catalyst Omega 14.12 WQHL... Without GTA V there is no reason to jump to 15.4 Beta. I've install them few days ago on daugters PC (Radeon HD 6450) and out of the sky problems all over the place: low fps, lags and weird shuttering in Minecraft, flash games in Flash were running a lot slower, weird slowlness in Windows... reverted back to Catalyst Omega 14.12 WHQL and problems were gone. Why the hell I even tried those 15.4 Beta on her PC while 14.12 were running perfect...?

Does anybody else experience some input lag/latency when in Alt-Tab while running a game? For example if I run GTA V (Rockstar Social Club version) or BF4 (w/ Mantle) and I Alt-Tab to Skype when I start to type something it is very laggy, each keypress takes forever. Mouse however is fine, interacting with apps is normal. I have only noticed this after installing 15.4 beta.

This is a problem with AMD graphics cards. The game takes full graphics priority which makes everything else lag.

14.12 Omega's did not work at all in my rig.
These ones are doing fine their job.
    Hard to install. Very tricky.
    Now, running smooth and flawless.
    Crossfire great.

Please, explain me what is so hard in installing driver? What is so tricky? I've seen this kind of reports about ati/amd drivers and i always wonder, "WTF?!??!".
