4 month wait for this?! Pure, 100% bullsh*t. A lot of people needs to be fired in RED company...just sayin.

No mention of R285 fixes - not even going to bother trying these since every new driver since September's Tonga beta has broken stuff for these cards. Been an ATI/AMD user since HL2 but I'm not feelin' the love any more :(

No Freesync support to 7xxx series...even some R7 & R9 Series..Still Bad performance on Far cry 4..No Dying light Crossfire... Thats Sucks.... Switching To GTX 960 4GB Next Month... Atleast nvidia will support drivers & features wise till 4-5 years from now...Even 680 Support Gsync.. AMD Sucks

To all those complaining about not enough done in the drivers, I dare say the main focus is on Windows 10 and proper WDDM 2.0 support, along with OpenGL Vulkan and DirectX 12. Spending a large amount of effort on Windows 7/8.1 now would just be stupid, since Windows 10 is a free update. NVIDIA would be doing the same themselves. That's not to say there won't be new drivers, just a shift in the main focus of development.

I haven't tried the new driver yet - can I expect single card performance improvements? Or is this purely a crossfire profile release in addition to Freesync?

I remember AMDMatt mentioning single-gpu improvements in Dying Light at least. Anyone have some numbers comparing the new driver?

Just in time when I got my new Benq gaming screen. Fixed a crazy flickering issue when set to native res with 144Hz. Thank you AMD!

When AMD add "Dynamic frame rate control" feature to their driver?

R9 280x user here. Four months and we get a non updated driver release (D3D...), no VSR, no framerate limiter.

Unfortunately, 2015 has changed nothing about AMD's poor driver release quality

I must say far cry 4 is horrible with this driver. I though crossfire should work fine with these but i get major slowdowns. So yeah wait 5 months and this was highly anticipated driver and we get this. Now I have every right to be pissed at AMD. Nonsense they gave us.

No, is not just your idea. I see aprox. 10 fps boost in Dying Light with a single 290. The game works like it should now. To bad I finished twice. That's the story with gaming these days. You have to play them 2 months after release.

How exactly can you manage to break something in Skyrim, a game from 2011?

Also, as someone pointed out: when list of known issues is longer than the fixes, it's probably time to sit down and reconsider what you're doing.

The "CCC" program seems to be a bit smoother with this driver, doesn't take as long to initialize when it's first started and it's a bit less "laggy" or how to describe it, no other issues with 15.3 either so far but it does seem like it's primarily to add FreeSync support (With a Crossfire compatibility driver update planned for April.) though there are some fixes and a number of Crossfire profile updates too although a ~3.5 month wait is pretty hefty, hopefully future drivers will be a bit quicker with the bulk of FreeSync now implemented, or so I guess but who knows. :)

Haven't checked the app profile files (Don't have AtiPfx or what it was called either at the moment so I can't.) to see what else they've added to this driver but Kn00t will probably have it on his website in a few days or so.

    http://www.kn00tcn.net/site/ati-catalyst-profiles/

The D3D driver version number being the same probably also means there might only be a few small tweaks, focus is probably on getting the Windows 10 drivers into shape in time for the beta or what will come after these tech previews.
(Would have been nice to have the framerate limiter in these drivers but that will probably come sometime in the near future hopefully, same with VSR improvements like hopefully a software implementation for earlier GPU models and to allow GCN 1.1 GPU's to reach above 2560x1600 under 16:10 and 3200x1800 under 16:9, reaching 3840x2160 / 3840/2400 would be nice but if they keep it to the GPU scaler thing it will require a newer GPU.)

Personally since forever i'm doing like this: testing game on demo/trial/non-legitimate copy/copy borrowed from friend, and if i like the game i'm buying it when it is released in goty or whatever named complete edition including all dlcs, especially on sales when it is discounted more than just 50%.
Probably that's one of reason i rarely have any issues with any games.

Well...like I said...IMO, the software department which released this minor driver updates once per 3-6 month needs to be fired. Correct me if I wrong here? ;)

    Why should i? :D

I am playing 3 games at the moment:

Dying light in coop with 3 friends, that i asked to pause a week, because of the coming crossfire profile - there is none.

FC4 - CF works now, and i was hopeful the first moments, until i saw it´s some kind of fps-lottery.

And Assetto corsa, which is ignored.

So this driver to me is as interesting as sand on the moon.

My game also has times where it goes from perfectly smooth 70+ to < 60 and jerky. I am also on a R9-280x, will post a picture when I play hardline later.

    I really want to know:

Is there anyone, playing anything, that is running really smooth and fluid now in CF, that has not before?
