I believe by default it runs 1080. Have to get into the custom settings to change it, which I can't. Tho it says I own the advanced version... Someone correct me if I'm wrong....

 

Ah yes you are correct! Under custom it does say 1080p is default.

I might try the TV again with HDR disabled to see if that is the cause of the error. It runs the other tests ok though.

That's interesting, it looks like DDR3 really lowers the performance in the CPU part of the benchmark. I also have a 6700K but with DDR4, and even though my CPU is clocked higher than yours, you're seeing less performance than you "should" at 4.4GHz. Perhaps that's the problem with this CPU benchmark and the reason why it doesn't use 100% of the CPU (not even one thread is maxed out), perhaps the CPU benchmark is swapping a lot of information in and out of RAM causing a bottleneck & not allowing CPUs to be driven to 100% usage - which might also be why Ryzen CPUs are seeing even lower scores than expected, as Ryzen's relation with RAM is known to be it's weak point in comparison to Intel.

 

I've got the Advanced Version and I can get into Custom, I don't know why you wouldn't be able to though, strange.

I've just found out I get a higher CPU score if I run Custom and choose AVX2 as the instruction set for the CPU test, (rather than leaving that on Auto), I get 13569 as CPU score now as opposed to 9930 - however it's still not using 100% of the CPU, so the CPU test is still a little 'bugged' like I mentioned in my previous post.

I think not bad for a laptop that HP under powered the RX 580 with a score of 27,682

 

Probably something messed up with the install then. I'd do the File Integrity Check thing in Steam, or is it called Repair now. Some kind of installation issue.

 

Yeah I tried to reinstall and verify files, but still is locked. I filed a bug report with UL. Still waiting an answer.... Thanks for the reply.

 

Because it's pointless?
I'm 99.9% gpu bound at 1620p or 1440p dsr. No need for extra heat, ok its just from 1.23 to 1.28v, but still.

I ran only 4.4GHz due to summer but I backed to 4.7GHz at my room's temperature of 22 ºC.

 

Well I got a response about not being able to do custom. They say it's because I don't have the "Time Spy" upgrade.... What a crock. When I click on the Time Spy test it says "Upgrade Required" and when I click on the Night Raid it says "Advanced Edition Only". Very misleading.... Here is the copy and paste of the message from UL_Jarnis.

Chek Options page

If you only have 3DM-ICF- key there (under show key) you have advanced for everything except Time Spy and Night Raid

If you also have 3DM-SPY- key, then Time Spy and Night Raid advanced features are also unlocked.

You can get the second key with the Time Spy Upgrade DLC.
Then a little ad for the upgrade.... Pffft....
