I need DX12 card? Or GTX 580 will be fine?
I found a little white robot with a square head, can't remember what he's from though
Think there was a Portal reference in there too, and wolfenstein rings a bell
I'm so busy running around trying not to get dead I don't have time to look at everything properly lol
It's OGL not DX, 580 should run it
Should be playable, 25-60fps+ on low. Maybe nearly stable 30fps at default detected settings. 35-60+ online multiplayer low settings.
They exist but it's all locked off and so far from my testing it's impossible to force non-whitelisted cvars so it'll have to be via Cheat-Engine to do stuff like flying around or hiding the gun model or someone modifying the game exe to unlock that restriction unless Bethesda adds more cvars later.
Also I read a interesting thing just now on how the game uses OpenGL 4.3 for AMD...and OpenGL 4.5 for Nvidia.
(Saw a screenshot of it using 4.5 on NeoGaf so that part seems to be true, have to check for myself if it's using 4.3 next time I start the game.)
the game seems to be missing some stuff too , nightmare ultra isn't there to select and no SLi so i guess we'll have to wait for them to fix it
The latest Crimson drivers supports opengl 4.5 so now it's down to who's causing the issue; driver or game?
Well I got around to checking, via NeoGaf I found this image:
4.5 for Nvidia
4.3.x for AMD
Had my first CTD right now out of the blue. No error message.
AMD pic quote "4.3.13440 compatibility profile Context 16.200.1010.0"
Is that normal? The Nvidia pic just says "OpenGL 4.5".
hopefully the day1 patch sorts this out. i wouldnt mind a free fps boost
Afaik developers avoid those higher feature levels on amd because they're just broken
This isn't going to look good if it was id's decision and openGL 4.5 on AMD isn't broken. There must be some kind of openGL 4.5 test/benchmark to check latest Crimson drivers for how much of 4.5 is supported.
Yep, i got too some CTD's with no errors, not even in event viewer.
All I know is that every time I check my system with a reporting utility, it says I have 2GB of VRAM with another 3GB set aside from somewhere else. I'm assuming that means system RAM. Canyourunit always says that too.
My rig runs well now using OGL. I'm interested to see how it changes when they add Vulkan support.
Are you running the 365.19 drivers?
Just looked at the forums on Steam, and many people are reporting the same thing. CTD.
Anyone else notice how butter smooth it is compared to other games at 60fps?
I have vsync disabled, still no tearing, everything looks smooth as hell.
Could be the motion blur i guess.
i caved into the hype and bought doom...
Not for long, GTX1080 will hopefully take care of this
Well, how the hell do I get rid of the 60fps lock?
