Dunno, but I've just system restored to before installing them, even after installing .51 I was getting hanging on the restarting logo

lol people are just overreacting or their systems are filled with malware or whatever or it's people want to make a not so big rumor viral to make nvidia drivers look bad as the amd drivers, in my case i never had driver issues with any card i had(except for those days when i had chrome crashes with nvidia drivers when maxwell first came out) but that's over, now im fine.

Unlikely, most people here know what they are doing with their machines, then suddenly a load of problems with people updating their NVIDIA drivers

Not malware, not overreacting, my system was fine, I installed the first .47 drivers and the system froze rebooting, then BSOD'd enabling the 2nd display

Went back to 362.00, the reboot freeze was still there

Installed the .51, reboot freeze still there

System restored to before the .47 was installed, and the reboot freeze is gone

    .47 and .51 are fu*ked.

I was watching Netflix on my HTPC and it froze and started whining and then the screen went a sort of tan color and crashed.

I have never had problems like this with any of my PCs until these drivers.

I would also say that as much as the bootloop may happen with multi monitor setups, it is not restricted to them as I have seen it twice now on single monitor PCs.

I would agree with the OP, these drivers are incredibly unstable.

I had never experienced anything like this before installing these drivers.

PS: Nvidia, it is not only affecting 'a small number of users' and it most certainly has nothing to do with 'Express settings' as I never use Express settings and never have.

Nah, it's these drivers, It's happening across 3 PCs that had 0 issues before these drivers so there is no doubt.

I've had the bootloop, monochromatic, BSOD etc.

I wish it was something else

Now using 362.00 again and no issues on any of them.

no issue here. those got issue is due to their rig too expensive & high end. nv can't provide the driver to keep the pace...

After installing this driver I noticed a necrotic rash spreading up my right arm rapidly.

I tried a clean install but the rash's progress wasn't slowed.

Thankfully my cards didn't burn out and performance was fine.

I did have a bsod earlier playing Witcher 3 currently running 364.51 however I think it was related to a USB device as the file that cause the error was USBXHCI.SYS, strange thing was on reboot windows said it was finishing an update which made me wonder if the update had caused the issue,

I have since played for a few more hours without issue so it's probably unrelated, I'll probably roll back anyway better safe than sorry.

My rig isn't expensive/high end and I had the issues described by BangTail in here, I had to boot into safe mode and DDU the drivers before installing clean, and I always install custom so I can untick 3d every single time as I don't use that.
