No need, it doesn't really change anything. You wouldn't feel a difference between DX 10 and DX 10.1
You're probably right, because sometimes in fast moving games running them at 1920x1200 I cant see the difference between AA and no AA as well. Apart from the frame rate :banana:
Actually I just read an article about Assassin Creed taking advantage of DX10.1 and how it increases performance over DX10
If there is a performance increase with 10.1 there going to be a lot of unhappy Nvidia owners since ATI is the only one that makes 10.1 cards right now..
The problem I have is I can't find any evidence either way to say it does or does not support DX 10.1.
I was over at Ubisoft's forums and they said that the reason your seeing a speed boost on DX10.1 with Assassins Creed is because its skipping a rendering process, in the next patch there removing DX10.1 from the game.
