Such a classic scene.
Yes, I do carry a knife on me quite frequently.... though not legally permitted to in the manor that I do. Some of my knives aren't even legal to possess where I live, much less carry....
Not exactly sure where you're from, but it sounds similar to where I'm from.
I can walk out the door with a gun in hand, and everything is fine. If I walk out the door with half the knives I own, I risk going to jail..... Makes no sense....
In my city.... No knives with blades longer than 3" unless used for hunting... No spring assisted knives.... Knives can't be concealed in any way. Knife must lock in closed position.... Knife can only be sharpened on 1 side..... Knives can not be carried in "public establishments" including but not limited to restaurants, government buildings, "bars", "clubs" or "movie theatres".... I can carry a gun into 4 of those 5 places without issue, unless otherwise posted.
What's up with this "illegal to carry" bullcrap? What countries are you from?
Countries that don't need their people to carry a weapon. What answer do you expect to such a question?
I use a folding locking pocket knife from China. I open boxes and pry on things with it. No sense in using an expensive one for that!
In an urban environment, why would you need to carry a knife other than in self defence or end of the world type scenario?
In the UK too many people have knifes and too many people use them sadly.
But its always down to the case that, its not the knife that's the killer, but the person who uses it.
Abit slow mate
Lol I had scripts disabled in my browser and forgot that nothing works on this site anymore without them!
What kind of country you life in that you need to carry a gun to defend yourself
Getting beaten daily or something?
well since the bad guys got one I figured a good guy should even the odds....
Nope, it's illegal in my country (sweden) our lawmakers are twats and they can't even begin to spell the word "freedom".
However I've been thinking of buying an USMC fighting knife and put it up on the wall right next to my US & Gadsden flags.
I don't want to turn this into a political thread but you're right. Why should law abiding citizens have no means of defense while illegal immigrants have access to illegal weapons?
Well it was a interesting little thread but now it is time to bail just before the fire spreads. Lol
A cheaper version of this, made in China is always with me when traveling. So far needed the can opener and bottle opener, no need to stab anything.
my granddad give me one of those when I was a kid and I loved it....Then I lost it and I swear I looked everywhere for it....that was a long time ago and damn I still miss that knife...an granddad too.
I once forgot the predecessor into my hand baggage. First security check - nothing. Then change at CPH - goodbye knife (probably worth 2€ ).
brother got charged with carrying a knife 15 yr ago over a certain length for protection, pen knife or a switch blade? not sure
you can carry a smaller knife here, like in a swiss army knife tool thing, where the main feature is not a knife, use it on someone and you'll be in jail though
Yep. I've got a Ruike Hussar P121.
Its handy at work. I cringe at the cs:go replica knives.
The fear of "illegal immigrants" and "firearms in wrong hands". Among of all fears to know and confront, you chose the one that media fed you with.
I am disappointed with your statement. Hopefully you won't need a bigger gun to keep your "illegal immigrants" fears in check.
Enough of politics. Back to knifes and tools!
I'm actually in the US....sadly enough. However, due to local laws, the only weapon that can be concealed is a gun (with appropriate permit). It's illegal to conceal a knife, stun gun, tazer or pepper spray. It's also illegal to possess or carry a baton except for law enforcement.
I can carry a "swiss army knife" because it's considered a "multi-tool" where I live....even though it has a knife blade. But they suck for personal defense.
The ability of law abiding citizens to protect themselves isn't as much a concern as protecting gun rights..... Also, it's not only "illegal immigrants" that have access to "illegal guns". Most criminals can gain access to "illegal guns" if they want to. Hell, even law abiding citizens can gain access to "illegal guns" if they care to put in the effort. Of course, at that point, they're no longer law abiding citizens.
