You guys are horrible, that I thought everyone was satisfied that P4s < A64s. Just dont upgrade your cpu unless you go dual core AMD X2 or Core 2 duo.

Anyways, youll have a bottle neck, nothing to worry about if you ask me.

and just to laugh, my friends 2800+ beats my P4 in game performance. But eh keep in on subject. An argument over old technology is lame.

Wow, this thread has got crazy and stupid. All this arguing over P4's:3eyes:

And @moab600, I think you have an unhealthy obsession with the Undertaker.

There is only one true conclusion,
if your cpu meets the recommended requirements of your game, you will be fine. When not,you might argue about bottlenecks and the likes, but that's really a terminology used by hardcore overclockers and of no use to the average computer user.
Don't think a fast videocard will make your game run smooth with an underpowered cpu,and vice versa.

As for the debate about p4 and amd64 , sisoft sandra agrees amd64 is better overall, there are some exceptions, but you can find them in the list to compare when benching.

    i had a p4@2.4 Ghz and an x850pro with 16pipes unlocked i got 7100 in 3dmark 05, i OC P4 to 2.8 Ghz and got 5600, then i changed to an amd 4200+ OC at 2.5Ghz and i got 6600, i changed to a 7800gtx and got 8900, i changed that to my current setup and i get 9500 in 3dmark 05

Bottom line, yes i would say youre bottlenecked

Haha, well, for peace of mind, with my current specs I used a x850pro before, and scored around 5600 marks in 3d05.
With the x1900xt that score almost doubled.
So as for graphics intense apps you will notice improvements, while on cpu tasks in games, you will notice little difference.
I ran bf2142 reasonably smooth and noticed a faster gameplay with the current card.
However,I upped the settings a little bit,and found it to be roughly the same again as before, except ofcourse for the slightly better image quality as for the shadows also.
So if you can gain some overall improvements for a little bit of cash, you win.
Just don't expect to run the latest and greatest at maximum settings without loss of performance.

Ok, wrestling IS NOT real, it has real moments when the fight becomes personal, but overall it just entertaiment, one of real moment when WWE was real is the match, the legendary match by the legendary undertaker vs Great Khali at LMS 2006, most of all it's not real and bull****, it's wwe.
However, WWF was real, the punches all that stuff was real, of course they won't fought with all power, but it was real, still UNDERTAKER IS THE PHENOM, THE GREAT LORD OF THIS NOOBISH WORD, PRAISE HIM OR SUFFER.
