do i have a bottleneck with this x1950Pro?

As much as you all hate the P4, it was a good chip

Willamette = Worst
Northwood = Crappy
Northwood (HT) = better than no HT
Prescott = Better than Northwood
Prescott (HT) = best so far
Cedar Mill = Mack Daddy of P4'z

i had a Prescott (HT) and it was sweet.

I personally don't believe you have a major bottleneck issue, certainly nothing to cause concern

lol ,my AMD64 4000+ @ 3Ghz would smoke that P4s a$$!
As the matter of fact, AMD64 4000 + @ 3Ghz is the fastest single core processor (when overclocked to 3Ghz of course) its faster than FX-57 which is exactly the same but works at 2.8Ghz.Well you could do the same thing with FX-55 and 57 overclock them to hell.Then the 4000+ would be not the fastest.

 

Athlon 64 3000+ smokes the ass of P4 3.0GHZ at gaming easily, Netgamer i know u high intel fan, but try to hold the ground while u talking, even the dead forces smarter than you.
