You must be doing something wrong as the 4890 is supported
    "ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series" = PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9460
    That should be your 4890

    You're welcome :)

hey killersneak ... drivers installed fine but upon reboot i was told 1 of my adapters was'nt compatable with CCC and in device manager 2nd gpu is installed as ATI RADEON HD4870X2 Series but seems to work fine anyway.

1st gpu is installed as ATI RADEON HD4870X2 like it should be.

    is this normal ?

Hey KillerSneak, I'm sorry to be a bother, but is there any chance that you could re-enable the 1540x1120 resolution in your next update? It's the best resolution my monitor supports and I kinda miss it. :(

If you could provide me with your DeviceID's i could alter the naming. And both adapters should be compatible with CCC. Did you follow the installation instructions?

The resolution tables will be redone in the next set so it should be back then :)

hi dude these drivers are awesome, i love how its added the geometry instancing and the high quality af. and it re-added the missing wma video accellaration . everything works just great no problems with install. games run possibly better, but with my system games run at their peak anyway.

all in all i must say im very impressed, many thanks for putting time and effort into building these drivers

Ill be working on them this weekend, if i can't get them done soon enough ill have to skip till the 9.5's

I don't think this can be done by modding the drivers, but ill be sure to look into this.

Stramge it should be working correct as your card is fully supported (driver wise) Ill keep this in mind for the upcomming 9.5

Never tried DNA ATI drivers before. Will they maintain my clocking profile after install the DNA drivers? Do I need a clean install?
Some one mentioned they should improvements in Burnout, like what?

I'm sorry for that, but the XP drivers like the Vist/Win7 ones have to be rebuild from the ground up as i lost my data during my first HD crash since 3 - 3 1/2 years.

Took me some time to get everything right for the Vista drivers and they have a good base now for upcomming releases I hope to do the same for the XP drivers asap.

    "ATI Radeon HD 4770" = ati2mtag_R7X, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_94B3
to inf file still says inf file not found

Should work, ill have to look into this. (it should work when you add your ID, at the time of release the 4770 wasn't know yet "at least to me")
