Hey I have the same problem with my 4850,s in CF...What the hells going on with these damn cards
Wait a min, you spent 900 dollars on each 2900XT cards?
WTH. Also, maybe this is the problem:
I tested on 1680x1050 res; x4 AA.
How about you don't overclock the cards, leave them as they be, play the game at 1024x768 or 1280x1024 everything on high, no AA.
No man the cars where about 485.00 each, bought them from newegg.com.
I run Crysis on 1680X1050, because thats what my screen res. is. I have a 22" wide screen flat screen monitor. Still with two high-end cards like these running crossfire should be no problem, especially after spending this kind of money. Come on !
I was thinking this year of getting the Intel QX9770, along with the Rampage Extreme motherboard, and two two 3870x2 running crossfire, but will I experiance the same BS.
Yea that is kinda weird, i understand what you are saying. Alright, maybe you shouldn't overclocked the card and keep the factory specs and don't use AA, or maybe AAX2. It could be that your GPU is overheating due to you overclocking the card.
Have you tested out the game without overclocking your card and using no AA or AAX2?
I will try that, just got home from work and checked the post. I'll let you know. Thank you!
