    @Killersneak

Is the ATI HD 3650 Mobility in my p300 toshiba also supported? I've been having trouble lately finding the latest driver for my 3650.

If so I will download it...Does it include also the Control center? So I dont deinstall it.

    Thank you

    Prescott

Usually such things with slow ticking of the clock can cause dipression..my advice as I can talk about it as it goes to you same like anyone else..Don't look at the time and try think that work is actually fun.

    For that is..I don't know...oh wait..I am on holiday's..hehe..I feel you though...ahh..doesn't holiday's for 2 months feel so good?

    Back to work then!

Should I try it with a 4870? Does it lower the image quality, or only improves the performance? (And is it tested with HD4000 series, or is it made only for older cards?)

OS: Tested on Vista x32 and x64

    GFX:
    Crossfire 4873 (8.7B version)
    CrossFire 3870 (my own)
ATi Mobility Radeon HD 2400 128Mb dedicated (Up to 895Mb using HyperMemory)
    ATi Radeon HD 3850 512Mb PCI-E
    X1300
    ATi Radeon X1950 Pro 512Mb PCI-E
ATi Radeon X1650 Pro 512Mb AGP

It's made for all cards from the Radeon 9500 (R300 core) to the HD 4870. It doesn't lower IQ and should improve performance.

I uninstalled my old driver with device manager, then ran catalyst uninstaller and used your equipped uninstaller utility. After the reboot I ran driwerswepper so everthing was cleaned properly. Then I started to install your driver but it gave me an error that "unable to find an inf" (or something similar, sorry that I do not made a screenshot from the log...) I did not know if it was normal, so I rebooted. There was no installed VGA driver so I run the installer again. It detected that everthing is installed but VGA driver is not. So I installed it and rebooted againg. Now it works.

But it give me very bed result in CS-Source VST @ 1920x1200, VeryHigh, 4xMSAA, 16xAF:
8.7beta-jun25 -> 123 FPS with any AI setting
8.7final-july03 -> 326FPS with standard AI and 302FPS with disabled AI
8.7final-DNA -> 203FPS with standars AI and 182FPS with disabled AI
(This game has a lot of artifacts on specific maps/areas when AI is enabled - with every 3 driver)
I changed only the AI settings and overdrive frquencies and left any other settings on default.

I uninstalled my benchmark-only games some days ago so I can not tell if it is better in Crysis, or Call of Juarez, but not good for CS-Source. (and may be this game showed me a little worse IQ ; and ff course I have some other installed game but I never measured FPS in MassEffect or UT3 because they runs very smooth so I should not care about the numbers...)

sorry - but what are "DNA" drivers? Are they different to the official 8.7 drivers?

I'm running on windows XP, so are these something I should have too?

    Many thanks

oops -- sorry :D I just saw that these are VISTA drivers. Duh! :bang:

Man. I uninstalled this driver with everything (devicemanager, catalyst uninstaller, your uninstaller, driversweeper), reintalled stock drivers and I still get the same result in CS-Source VST.
Maybe something else is ****ed up in my system, but maybe your tweaks cannot be removed by this uninstall methods.

Could you tell me which keys I should remove from my registry? :pc1: :biggun:

Use the batch file in the dna folder, and just choose 1 to uninstall, I think?
