Yes they do, "Intel Chipset Driver" and "Intel Consumer ME driver" are classed by most as chipset drivers.

Intel Chipset Software (inf Only) is not a driver.
MEI is not a chipset (its firmware)

    Try again.

    @Wagnard

although i have slected NOT to let windows download nvidia drivers by itself, somehow it doesn't work with latest version of DDU. as soon as i click to check updates in windows update setting, new nvidia driver starts to download automatically.

You have to disable it within a windows itself.

no, DDU used to do it by itself, it has option to prevent windows update to automatically download nvidia driver, but it doesn't work atm.

The direct download for V18.0.4.6 is: https://www.wagnardsoft.com/DDU/download/DDU v18.0.4.6.exe
It's not an official release. I always wait until its published on Wagnard's site before I post about the update.
Consider v18.0.4.6 Beta until that time.

I hope this is the correct place to put this, but I just used did to uninstall my GPU driver to install the newest one. I got black screen. Nothing is visible. Normally the system reverts back to the Windows default driver er, but not this time. I tried removing my gtx 1060 6gb and plugging in the monitor HDMI cord to my x570-p mobo, but found that doesn't have a backup driver. Am I now faced with just reinstalling W10 to get my screen display back?

Your windows should automatically re-install a default driver upon restart.
Can you go into safe mode ?

Microsoft display adapter is never removed otherwise you would not be able to see video from your video card when you remove the AMD video driver.

If you are trying to install the most recent driver release for AMD video cards, it will not work since the GPU is an older model.
Follow this URL to the download and install the latest and the last driver for your AMD HD 7750.

    https://www.amd.com/en/support/prev.../amd-radeon-hd-7000-series/amd-radeon-hd-7750

P.S. You posted your question in the wrong thread. This thread is for Nvidia GPUs not AMD GPUs

    .
You can find the download for this file on a number of Freeware / Shareware download sites. (Use your favorite search engine)

It is not listed on Wagnards official site which would also present the change log file for this version of DDU.
This post is just a notice that it is available however you may want to wait until it is officially released on Wagnards site.
