and when I select clean GFE in the options, the error doesn't show up.

tested now with the previous 17.0.2.0 version as well, same behavior. if I don't wanna clean GFE, the error shows up, if I do select it for cleaning, no error.

I have some question........ the remove GFE option it's be to remove GFE during the uninstall operation right ?
But when i reinstall the newest driver the GFE it's not reinstalled by driver ?? At this point it's not same result to uncheck this feature ?

About windows 10 X64 windows update driver:
I have run the app....... i see a message says:
Restore installation of driver by windows update to default config.....

Ok but there's no option for disabled this feature......... how it's exactly worked this ?? The Windows update feature it's disabled when the uninstallation it's been started ???

I know, read on about, it's safe to use this by Safe mode.... but i want to try to run it at Normal mode.
What's the best solution in this case ? Uninstall and restart of Uninstall whitout restart ??

    *EDIT*
Apparently i have uninstall my previous nvidia and reinstall whitout any problems......... i can confirm i obtain the same error for GFE but the unistall it's apparently completed.
At restart of my windows 10 i can't see anymore GFE runnings on System Tray... it's be corrupted ? Or uninstalled ? I need to be reinstall ? After this errors it's partially uninstalled ?

Yes the option to remove GFE is to remove GeForce Experience when we clean with DDU
I think the recent driver doesnt install GFE now.

When we start the cleanUP, there is a feature within DDU that disable the driver seaching of device manager to Windows update. The button simply restore the default behavior of Windows.

You can run it in safe mode but some file may not be able to be removed because they are in used or else. So the cleaning will probably not be as "clean" as in safe mode

I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and it caused Elder Scrolls Online to go from about 70 fps to 4 fps. I was advised to use Display Driver Uninstaller then reinstall my drivers and it fixed the problem. However, it seems as though DDU has affected my registry or something as I can no longer turn on Windows Defender. (I also just found that I can no longer use Windows Print to PDF. I'm not sure if that's related, but I know it worked fine pretty recently and I haven't changed anything else.)

Is there a way to fix this without undoing the fix for my fps?

sounds unrelated, but in any case, DDU by default, creates a restore point for your OS. just revert. if this fixes your defender and PDF issues, then you can send the DDU log files to Wagnard.

Never heard of this sort of problem before.
As some has suggested, try a system restore rollback and see if the problem is there.
You can also email the logs (located within the DDU folder) at wagnard28@gmail.com

The problem has been fixed in the code for the next version.
There is no workaround as it was really a bug in the code.
So for the moment if you want to clean with DDU you have to select the "Remove GFE" option.

But I will release the new version soon with the fix.(I'll try before the end of the weekend) . I'm just busy with real life stuff at the moment. (I'm moving).

    ChangeLog:

-Nvidia CleanUP enhancement for driver 375.70.
    -Fixed "nvtelemetry" folder removal conditions
-Small speed increase for device removal by not checking for siblings every time
-Fixed a bug showing an error message when Cleaning NVIDIA and when Removing GFE is unticked.
    -Translations updates :
    Serbian (Cyrilic).xml
    Serbian (Latin).xml

    SHA1: 1F7AA86DAF6D8FE938C78A47A817EECA7A1B4FEA

    Recommended usage:
-The tool can be used in Normal mode but for absolute stability when using DDU, Safemode is always the best.
-Make a backup or a system restore (but it should normally be pretty safe).
-It is best to exclude the DDU folder completely from any security software to avoid issues.

Windows won't boot Into safe mode It will just restart and open ddu selection screen. Not sure why.

Edit: Nevermind Had to run ddu as admin for It to boot successfully to safe mode.

    Thanks.

For me DDU isn't working correctly anymore. Yes it uninstalls the driver fine but on reboot an earlier Nvidia driver gets installed within about 10 seconds of reaching the desktop.

I'm thinking that this is due to a Windows 10 update, I'm currently on build 14393.351
