    VulkanRT folder got 1.0.3.0 & 1.0.5.1

i don't think we need to delete since the files size is less than 2 MB!

none the less question stands, also like to know why it not part of the driver install, and is separate, if it separate nvidia should put option for it in custom installs and what not

I'll probably add it as optional in the future.

Edit: I was easier to add than I thought, its already added to the SVN.
Should be in the next version.

Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) V15.7.5.4 Released.

-Support the removal of the Vulkan runtime. (Optional ,check the option menu)
    -Translations updates
Japanese,Chinese (Traditional) (Thanks to the contributors.)

    Known Issues:
-The "VulkanRT" folder in "ProgramFiles" is now always removed

    SHA1: 23FA3A08B856D8806DC9FC0935FA0C43116D03B3

    Recommended usage:
-The tool can be used in Normal mode but for absolute stability when using DDU, Safemode is always the best.
-Make a backup or a system restore (but it should normally be pretty safe).
-It is best to exclude the DDU folder completely from any security software to avoid issues.

Do you think you could add an option to keep the PhysX Legacy Drivers as they get removed even when the "remove PhysX" option is unticked.

Driver uninstaller no longer works as intended?

I remember when I used this program before, DU would restart in safe mode before cleaning. Well, it still reboots into safe mode, but it doesn't look like safe mode anymore. The desktop, resolution, icons, and text no longer have that pixelated look. Even after I clean everything with DU, things stay the same. Did something change with safe mode and W10?

If you have a UEFI motherboard, the resolution will stay the same.

Its contributions like this that made me made the threads about optimization. Seeing this makes me rethink my decision of shutting it down.

    Fantastic work.

Sup guys, I've been using DDU for awhile, recently my PC auto updated to Win10, I had everything turned off and all that good stuff and came home to find it updating.

Anyway, I have an older card, 560ti 2win... and I have issues with drivers failing and not recovering. They only set of drivers that seem to work is 314.22, but every time I install them some how (like windows 10), even though I have everything turned off, it manages to auto update to 358.xx and I get right back to failing issues. I've followed every lil' how-to on youtube and other forums on turning off auto update, nothing has worked.

Please if anyone has some input, it's greatly appreciated... or wants to send me a new card :p

    Hi there,
only way I know to do this on Windows 10 is to use THIS little utility.
(I never personally used it but heard from others that it helped)

So install the working drivers first and then run the utility?

    Sigh... no.

First you uninstall the nvidia drivers in this order.

    1. Any Nvidia Components such as 3d experience, Physx, and geforce experience.

    2. Then Uninstall the HD audio driver and restart if installed

    3. Lastly unistall the last driver which is the Nvidia Graphics Driver and restart.

You should restart to a desktop with NO NVIDIA DRIVERS INSTALLED! if windows is forcing it, i recommend disabling it through gpedit and regedit or follow a guide (i made one but deleted due to frustration with the comments) or unplugging the ethernet cable/disabling network connection or disable the wifi adapter.

With no nvidia drivers installed you then run this application and restart in safe mode and remove the remnants and restart

Then you install the new driver in normal mode.

I will *soon* be releasing a new beta version of DDU for testing.
If some users that have backups and are not afraid of system reinstalls want to give a try and give me feedbacks , email me at wagnard28@gmail.com

Note: normally there should be no problem but since there are some majors changes, I prefer to warn.

Here is an idea of the changelogs:
Now using WPF instead of WinForm.(1 big advantage: its DPI friendly)
New log style. (Check it out)
Added the ability to DDU to change folders permission that were failing to be removed before.
Now using SetupAPI instead of DEVCON for device removal.
Fixed Physx was always getting removed in some part of the code.
Enhancement to the automatic language selection on first launch.
Improved overall quality of the code.
And a lot of other not really worth to mention little changes here and there.

Most of these change wouldn't have been possible without the help of a fantastic coder: "devmltk"

    with 15.7.5.5

when you click visit DDU website same with SNV, guru3d nvidia ,guru3d amd, nvidia, it opens CMD and want to uninstall it dont open a link to DDU site.

Which i find strange cause i dont think there really is a "install" for DDU atlest not one listing in programs and features, then again I also extract the DDU download my self and with 7zip and move to my own folder manually
