Hey Wagnard, I found nvgsyncdetours.dll a few nights ago in C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\nvgsync folder after cleaning using 15.2.

Can you check it out when you get time? Thanks for your awesome work!

Well it depends if the game is newer or released after Omega 14.12 then I'd suggest installing the 15.5 Beta.Even though years ago when I had ATI cards, Omega drivers would usually run everything old or new just as good as a latest official driver. You'll have to try for yourself and be sure to use DDU in safe mode.

I only use third-party tools to uninstall drivers as a final option, preferring to normally use the driver's own Custom and/or Clean option instead.

DDU helped fixed a TDR issue I was having from a borked driver installation when I upgraded from a GTX 980 to a GTX 980 Ti. I stupidly swapped the cards out without uninstalling the v353.06 driver because I thought it would be OK to do, seeing as both cards use the same unified driver. I found the software ridiculously easy to use and it worked flawlessly so thank you to Wagnard for that.

Are you aware that registry keys
    Code:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Setup\PnpLockdownFiles
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\DriverDatabase\DeviceIds
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\DriverDatabase\DriverInfFiles
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\DriverDatabase\DriverPackages
    (1) can contain subkeys/values for the missing "oemN.inf" files (2) or can list wrong "oemN.inf" files (I discovered that multimedia related entries list inf-file for AHCI controller)?

Also subkeys of "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\DriverDatabase\DriverPackages" relate to folders in "C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository" and I found there very old drivers (since Win7).

Thanks for the info, I was already using the information there to determine some information (like to original oems/inf name)
The PnpLockdownFile region is cleaned already.

GeForce Experience not recognizing my GPUs

Ok, I'm about to give your application a shot. I recently installed some new hard drives, did a clean install of Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, since my OS is installed onto a Samsung XP941 M.2 PCIe SSD, my applications are installed on 2 Samsung 850s setup in RAID0, and all my data is kept on a WD Black 4TB drive. I did this so if my Windows gets corrupted or starts running slow, it won't effect anything else.

After installing my new drives, I saw where ASUS released a new firmware for the X99 Deluxe, which I had a hell of a time flashing. I eventually got it to work after flashing the firmware from a 4GB flash drive instead of a 16GB flash drive. The only problem is, I think something may have got corrupted when trying to flash the new firmware and turning my PC on and off consistently.

Now, the problem I'm having is GeForce Experience is not recognizing my 2 780 Ti Superclocked GPUs running SLI. I installed the most recent drivers from Nvidia's website, installed GeForce Experience, but whenever I go into GeForce Experience under the games tab, it says it can't optimize games on my PC because I don't meet the system requirements. If I click on the My Rig tab, everything is fine except under Game optimization. It doesn't recognize my GPUs, even though at the top of the page it clearly lists them.

I've tried uninstalling the drivers, I did a clean install, and that didn't work. I uninstalled everything, only installed the GeForce Experience, then installed the drivers directly from GeForce Experience, but it still doesn't work.

Now, I'm going to try this and see if it fixes my problem. I'll post back after doing this to let you know if it fixes my problem.

Awesome! This fixed my problem! I have no idea what the problem was, but I've been working on it the last 24 hours. Your software works great! I REALLY appreciate it!

Seems to be a PITA to download DDU now?

Just takes me to a forum instead of a direct link

I see the link in the forum, but was much better when there was a DL on the main site

No registration is required to download.

With my forum, it will be easier to receive bugs and talk about possible issues. It is also a hobbies to manage it.
I don't see it as a big PITA especially since you don't have to register.
Btw it never was a direct link before on my website, you had to go to the download section and then you had the link. You technically have maybe 1 more click than before...

Just my opinion, before the forum, the link was direct from your main site, now it redirects to the forum, need to check which post / thread is the latest, open that, find the link, then finally download

Not my place to tell you how to run your site, just from a users POV, it isn't as simple as it used to be, I used to be able to link people directly to DDU, but now if I try, even with the forum link, that won't work thanks to hotlinking, so now they get redirected to your forum too

Most people who want to use DDU, just want a quick link, they are already fed up with their driver problems

I can understand you wanting more traffic to your forum, but IMO a direct link would still be great

    Just an observation :)

Noted. I appreciate the comment. Nothing is in stone yet.
But there is no redirection for my forum. You can link directly the thread.
    Latest version is also Pinned.
Edit: I could even make the latest version as an announcement. it will be even clearer.
