I've just used latest DDU version 12.7.0 to clean my current AMD drivers in order to install the "new" Catalyst 14.4 WHQL.

    So far, so good!
Thank you so much again, Wagnard!!! :)

    Thanks my pleasure.

Also, I have re-release 12.7.0 with a change to the services.cfg for AMD users.
I suggest to everyone with an AMD chipset motherboard and a AMD videocard to re-download it.
It fixes a possible problem with the "AMD High Definition Audio bus" in system device that could result in a code:19 after a DDU cleanUP

Probably you have the old. I'll do a 12.7.1 to avoid the confusion.

I had problems the last time I tried DDU but the newest version worked like a champ. No problems that I can see. Keep up the good work.

    hi guys,

i forgot my old password for my outlook account and can´t login in safemode, because of no internet connection (new password won´t be recognized).

i´m stuck now on safemode bootloop, tried already refreshing win8.1 installation and restoring old restore points without any success, shift and restarting in safemode with network drivers doesn´t work as well.

    can somebody pls help me?

Quite a particular issue you have.

To solve the boot loop, you must boot with the DVD/USB (Windows installation disk) in recovery with Command prompt and type :

    Option 1 (recommended) : bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot

If option 1 is not working,

    Option 2 : bootrec /rebuildbcd

There may need to be some adjustement if you have a dualboot system. but if not , it should work correctly.

Keep me posted of the results.

    Glad it saved you !

This fix also fixes what some users reports about their windows installation doing safemode infinite boot loop when selecting the option to automatically reboot into safemode.

This is not a DDU issue but an issue with their O.S not being able to go into safemode for some odd reasons...

Yup, that is really an odd reasons...
I wonder why MS don't update/sync the new password to local for him...

i didn´t boot normally after the password change, instead used ddu´s boot into safemode.

guess u have to boot once normally to overwrite ur pw locally.

Yup, Windows should asking you to sync the account after you boot normally+connected to Internet.

Or maybe after you change the password, Windows try to sync the settings etc.

Thanks but I saw it already yesterday and I think that I already have all this cleaned.
And to be honest, there is some stuff missing in that list.

But if you guys find something that is cleaned by the AMD utility but is not with DDU, please tell me.
