    Hello Streetwolf:

    Welcome to Guru3D forums.

I hope you take the time and try it again and record the information that Wagnard request.

DDU has corrected issues for a number of people including myself.

Could you also include what Windows version you are using and which version of Catalyst driver DDU was uninstalling.

DDU should be considered a beta.

    Changelog:
-Fixed a possible registry clean-up problem that could happen on some circumstances (I highly recommend users to update DDU to this version)
    -Updated Interface reg clean-up.
-Add Korean language . Contributor: 4Li

Hi guys, just a quick one. Should I be running the standard AMD uninstaller first before running DDU, or just run DDU by itself? Also, does DDU remove CCC etc as well as the driver, or do I need to remove these seperately? Thanks.

Yup, you no longer to reboot, F8, select Safe Mode.
    Or(for windows 8+)
Holding Shift while clicking on reboot, going into the select menu, then reboot to the boot select menu, then select Safe Mode...

Thanks, man! I'm going to give it a try as new Beta Catalyst drivers have surfaced just today.
    I'll be reporting back :)

New Catalyst Beta 14.3 installed after using new DDU v12.6.0. Everything butter smooth for me one more time :)

@Wagnard, the new drivers for AMD include support for Mantle and TrueAudio for the game Thief. So, let me know if you need some section of my Windows registry or whatever, will you? ;)

There is a new AMD Clean Uninstall Utility with Windows 8 support here.

    Still not tested, though.

I have updated my Win 8.1 x64 to the leaked update 1 earlier this week, Will this be safe to clean with or it will cause damage?

Mentioned above. Reports on other Guru3D threads indicate that utility may have it's own set of issues:

    Thank You

Your work has just saved my Day :)

Having added a 3rd monitor to create my Eyefinity group, I suddenly found myself in a trap that in the end required me to repair my Windows Install.
    Driver Catalyst 14.1

Booting up looked normal, but when the windows jingle had sounded I was facing 3 blank screens. When I removed the last added monitor that was connected to my newly bought DP active port, the computer simply rebooted and refused to load windows any more. Windows startup screen requested me to get my DVD and repair my install.

After several attempts, I was able to repair my windows install, but ever since I had to refrain from my Eyefinity setup. 3 monitors connected would lead to disaster.

As a solution I simply prepared a brand new HDD and a fresh windows install. By using this fresh install, I was able to boot with 3 screens connected and create my eyefinity group.

By selecting which HDD to boot I could select between my "Gaming" install or getting all the rest. However, I had to remember to remove the extra monitors, or I would be in big trouble..

Until now, that is :) :)

Your Driver Remover did what was needed.

Now I can boot my old windows install with 3 monitors attached.

No more messing around on the floor in the darkness trying to connect these tiny DP connectors.

You made my Day, Thank You :)

DDU should be considered a beta.

    Changelog:
-Made Nvidia CleanUP a lot faster (particularly on the DDUDR remove part)
-Do not ask to close the application if the Reboot or shutdown button was selected.

    Thanks, Wagnard!

I'll test it if my laptop comes back, but I don't really know if it'll come back soon eventually.

But everyone else, please test this if it's good again to go and goodluck with Ur next updates, Wagnard!

@wagnard : nice, kinda weird though, because i thought all physical PC magazines have died,

because in my country pc magazines have all died, because of internet,

PC magazines becomes absolute for tech savy,

and casual peoples wont buy the magazines, because they can't understand a single word in it.
