Anyone else having screen flashing with these drivers ever now and then ? I thought maybe it was my monitor but determined it was not.

Can you elaborate, what sort of flashing?

Both 400.xx drivers give me odd direct x crashes in Madden 19 on PC that I didn't experience with the 3xx series. Also getting this washed out color issue with Madden on PC with the 400 set.

OC related perhaps? Try to reset your OC and re-run benchmarks / games.

I have every now and then for a millisecond lines across the screen, white + black. it's somehow Gsync related in my case and happens only in certain games, which is odd.

I think the card is factory overclocked? SC2? But I haven't done any myself. And the game ran flawlessly before the 400.xx drivers. Nothing has changed other than the drivers. Just hate to go back a branch like that.

That washed out deal is a problem with the implementation of HDR. It blows. It's basically toggling on the Windows 10 HDR (fake) mode which also, depending upon your set, limited RGB. I've also had one DX crash running in DX12 mode.

    - First post updated with Clean 416.16 WHQL x64 for Win 10 (Win 7/8/8.1 ver. is currently unavailable for whatever reason)

    411.70 r411_58-9
    416.16 - r416_10-4

    P.S. @ShadowDuke
Thanks, Shadow, I actually had links ready and files uploaded, was just waiting for Win 7/8/8.1 versions, but they still aren't up. I guess will update later whenever Nvidia uploads them. Gj with the fast upload! ;)

I assume no, but try to test it. Nothing will break, simply won't work if it's reliant on it.

@Thunderbolt8 you don't need that folder for Optimus to work.I'm also on laptop with eGPU and Optimus works just fine without it.I think from what i've read in one of the files in the folder is needed for Geforce Experience which i don't use anyway.

so that's how they'll force users to switch to win10 malware :-(. at least gamers.
I thought they would first drop support for games under 7.
I guess i'll stop playing any new games.
at least I wont have to spend cash on a new GPU every few months, so congrats nvidia for shutting yourself in the foot :p.
