What, Dirt 4? Are Codies trying to play at M$ windows naming games. Surely it should be dirt 5! Really struggling playing Dirt Rally or Dirt 4 as I should be. Campaign mode is V hard. Good game it gets its claws into you. reminds me of Colin McRea Rally 2005. Who remembers Dirt1? Boy what a killer app that was.

Codemasters have gone full retard for too long. I hope this is good. Grid 1, Dirt 2 and 3 and Autosport were good but I hated Grif 2, the f1 games and I think the last one was called dirt rally... How hard is it to just provide a large varietybor track and race types in a well optimised game? Between the bloated online throat F$%÷ and retarded bro-dude themes and menus...they've made it as hard as possible to just get into it. Do they really need a fixed like 5 second transition animation in and out of every section of the menu in Autosport....or in and out of that stupid trailer in Dirt 2... If the back end of the game takes half your tome when you are running m.2 sata drives, ddr4 @2866, an overclocked i7 and a high end gpu....then someone on the design team needs to be fired.
yeah they always went cheap on track variety.. Dirt1 and 2 had a lot, then it went downhill from there.. This latest Dirt Rally is really poor too, I expected more.
I have a hard time understating why people say DiRT 1, 2, 3 or Showdown are "good games", since they all lack the most basic component of a rally game = rally stages (unless you count a total of 6 short stages split into 36 even shorter sections, well, then you have your $59.99 worth of gameplay) Dirt Rally on the other hand, or what I like to call it, DiRT 4: Alpha, is pretty much just that, a preview of what DiRT 4 may become, where the devs got plenty of time and funds to develop the next great thing and most people, like myself, enjoyed that game, despite of the obvious flaws of very few and short stages (all of which were cut into even shorter sections...) and lack of cars and if DiRT 4 is going to revive the once great Colin Mcrae Rally series, then Your Stage™ better not have a ridiculously low upper limit on how long a stage can be or with dumbed down (simplified) creation tools, because 3 min stages just doesn't cut it anymore... Edit: looks like the upper limit is set at 7.5 miles or 12 km (source). Aren't real life stages three times longer in general? What do you guys make of this?
