I only have 1 problem left with vista64, i cant run GearOfWar, then again it might be a SLI/Vista64 problem, i run it on vista32 with single card fine.

My source test score is 40% improved under vista 64, this is because source is 64 bit optimized, you have 32 bit vista?

Does punkbuster work fine on vista 64? I didn't have Quake wars when I had Vista, so I don't know really.

Never had a problem in over a year of BF2 and a couple of other PB enabled games on Vista 64 that wasn't caused by PB themselves (and people think Windows is beta software, Evenbalance half the time couldn't code their way out of a wet paper bag).

Right on. I've enjoyed the hell out of it. It is rather odd that I hear more complaints/problems about Vista32 problems than 64.

Not a VISTA basher I use it myself and runs games just fine, DX10 titles that is. DX9 runs a bit sluggish comapred to XP and I gave an example. Review sites claim that this problem was fixed and it was driver related. Well I have the recent drivers. I'll keep playing my DX9 games in Windows XP, and DX10 in VISTA...

Ok first of all I didn't start this thread, and I would agree with you. This whole DX10 in XP has become RIDICULOUS - people still fall for this BS about DX10 in XP they don't realize it's just a hack to fool your game into thinking XP has DX10 but you aren't running DX10 features :D That I agree....If you were refering to that is BS I agree, but the VISTA thing wasn't BS, and I'm not bashing it since I use it, games are not as fast as XP when it comes to DX9 at least the VISTA32, which I am using - I will try patching some of those games to see if it helps .

You can't play games in 64 bit with punkbuster on as far as I'm aware
You can play the game on 32 bit which will run fine

At least that's my experience in crysis

    Any Punkbuster Game Works.

    Either Run as Administrator.

    OR

    Use Pbsetup.exe and update manualy.
