    Good morning,
I'm stepping up my 3 y.o. PC to a new Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 motherboard, 16 GB GSkill ripperX RAM, Intel i7 2600k CPU, and I'm trying to decide on a graphics card. $350 is about my budget for it. I already have a GTX550 ti that I'm intending to move to my HTPC, but I'm looking for a more powerful GPU for the main PC. I run two monitors, currently, one in 1920x1200, and the other one I don't remember off hand...think it's 1600x???. It's an old Sony that I use in portrait mode, and it's not wide screen. I intend on replacing that one soon with one that will run 1920x1200 or better. Both monitors are DVI port, so HDMI isn't an immediate concern, although the next monitor may be.

I've been looking at a few different EVGA cards, and I really can't tell the difference. They are all within $10 and all the specs seem pretty much the same.

    They are:

    012-P3-1573-KR
    012-P3-1573-AR
    012-P3-1572-AR
    012-P3-1576-KR

What's the real difference between these cards? I'm not married to EVGA either, but I've dealt with their product support, and they've been good on that in the past. Although I have a Gigabyte motherboard, their support is less helpful, so they wouldn't be my first choice.

Any of them that may come with a game would be a bonus!

You could fit an MSI Twin Frozr III GTX 570 in that $350 budget....the cooling is well worth it.

You don't buy the Twin Frozr III for it's cooling...the cooling is crap compared to a custom cooler, you buy the TF III for its OC capabilities and quality components. And yes i'd recommend getting the MSI TFIII 570 also.

Get msi if you want the better over all card, better cooling, noise, and OC capabilities. But warranty is only 3 years, while all the EVGA card you listed, except for the KR, are lifetime warranty. Get evga card if you plan on getting a custom cooler yourself.

As i said, dont get the first card you listed, it has a 3 year warranty only.

That's about all I could gather (warranty, that is)

I ended up ordering the 012-P3-1573-KR. I should have ordered the -AR, but when I searched for the -AR on Amazon, it brought up the -KR and I missed the detail. I could cancel, but it doesn't matter much. 3 Years is about the lifetime of a video card anyway, and I'll probably want to upgrade in 3 years anyway, so no harm done.

Gigabyte GTX 570 has a triple fan cooler, better than MSI Twin Frozr III.

I was asking that same question last week and decided that the best 570 is a 6970 because the price (I am getting a new one for €250) and the fact it has more ram.
