So i added some sensors and now the app insta crashes lol

    will try a clean install

edit ... i have found that as soon as i enable the plugins the app crashes

edit 2 ... you can change settings via the config file in appdata roaming corsair cue4 config.cuecfg to stop the crashing

I updated both my X570 boards with the patch and while mouse tracking does feel better I'm not convinced it's functioning at 100%

Asus B550-e Gaming + 5800x, newest bios, AGESA 1.2.0.1 Patch A fixed all my USB issues and mostly fixed the random restarts with low CPU usage, only had 1 random restart since (it's been just over 2 weeks and was happening every other day)

Using it almost half the day now. One thing thats bugging me is that AGESA 1.2.0.2 lowers my clock speeds with 100MHz.

MSI has 1.2.0.2 bios (7C35v1E3) posted as of 8 April. Flashed my 570 Meg Ace, the magic smoke stayed hidden inside...

I didn't have any USB problems that I know of, but I was able to mount 64 G of gskill ripjaws 3600c14Q (CL14-15-15-35) with a stock 3800x. Again, the magic smoke stayed inside.

Installed Asus B550-E Gaming AGESA 1.2.0.2 bios this morning (2201) done some testing, it's knocked 400~ points off R23, but runs cooler 3-4c lower, no random restarts or USB issues as of yet.

2 days now and no led issues, no random Corsair h115i restarts.

Agesa 1.2.0.2 Still doesn't like my SanDisk USB 3.0 128GB stick, put it in a port anywhere near my wireless keyboard and mouse, they stop working properly.... not a game breaker but still a bit annoying.

Edit: Same keyboard, mouse and usb drive, totally fine in my old system.

Input devices should be installed on chipset ports, not cpu ports.

It was AMD that backported it, not the board manufacturers. The board manufacturers receive the AGESA as a binary blob as far as I know, so they really can't easily modify it.

I agree with everything else in your post though. This was just a minor nitpick that doesn't really matter in practice. :)

interference from high speed pcie devices
dpc latency increases with high polling rate mice

theres just less issues in general with legacy usb devices on the chipset hub.

Just heard the disconnect reconnect windows sound... no idea what usb device it was but the issue still seems present.

    *edit*

Just realized the bios I'm on is 1.2.0.1 patch A..... guess I need to get on 1.2.0.2

That's a really handy tool... If I'm reading it correctly it looks like it was my xbox wireless adapter which is plugged in at the back of the motherboard.

Everything working fine here since BIOS 3603 with the AGESA 1.2.0.1 Patch A for an ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming and still not issues with the current Beta 3801 BIOS. 3602 with 1.2.0.1 was the last version to have USB issues present for me so far.

No drivers have been updated, xbox thingy has the same 11/07/2017 driver that I manually installed.

Last the system updated was on the 14th for a cumulative update, KB5001330.
