Strength increasing gear primarily, using abilities that focus on damage and passives that also improve damage could be something. Going with two one-handed weapons is better than the slower (lower-dps) two-handed equipment currently though a shield can really boost toughness. Currently at 57.000 damage and 1.1 million toughness, follower has about 60.000 damage and some 700.000 toughness Rings and amulets are going to be very useful but they are fairly rare or so the case has been for me at least, rare ones do drop on occasion but I've only found four or so legendary rings all in all. (And no amulets, barely any rare amulets even.) Torment 1 is going to boost things a bit but there's no difference between normal and master other than the gold and XP gain so do lower the difficulty and farm for items without the added difficulty, will help. (Treasure goblins for example are a great source of items, I can now take them on Torment 1 if they don't move around too much.) EDIT: Right I keep forgetting about that, socketed weapons with high-grade emeralds for critical damage, scoundrel follower or other means of increasing critical hit chance. (Or was it armor?)
It's on ladies and gentlemen. Tonight is the night. Don't forget to log in before RoS goes live to avoid queues.
If you mean the Physical CE, good luck with ordering 1 day before launch. I ordered mine back in December to be 100% sure i have a box.
Diablo 3 CE was printed in such a number that freaking Walmart was selling them at a discount within few months of release. I doubt he'll have any trouble picking up a copy
I'm really torn as in what to do when the game goes live. I really want to play the crusader, but I also really want to play act 5. I think I'll level the crusader first, though. What is everyone doing?
The game was totally sold out of retail copies in my part of the world, for months after release. I actually got a pattern to craft a level 70 legendary glove item while levelling my DH, was only level 35 or so when I got the drop. Not sure how likely that is to repeat, but at least there's some benefit to higher level characters with the potential for those sorts of drops.
I think i'll continue my wiz from act 1 or start a crusader and start at act 1. I want to start there because RoS will ofcourse change all acts in some small way. And I dont wanna miss anything the first time
Anyone know if the version for sale on Green Man Gaming is retail or digital? If it's retail I'll probably end up ponying up the extra for the digital rather than wait. http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/gb/en/pc-dvd/games/rpgs/diablo-iii-reaper-souls/ Edit: No matter, seems it's retail.
My boxed copy was sent today by ShopTo.net so I should have it for tomorrow. I went with the boxed copy rather than digital because I own a boxed copy of the original Diablo III. Most of my PC games now tend to be digital (from GreenManGaming actually) but there's something nice about a boxed Blizzard game.
SimplyGames have a digital key for just £22.99 if you're not bothered about having a boxed copy. That's the cheapest I've seen it. They are very good in my experience sending keys and physical products.
Make sure you log in before 11pm guys, you don't need to relog once RoS hits so get on before to avoid the queues.
