Yes, he can re-roll when RoS goes live
Check out my build, I've linked it here somewhere, it even plays t6 pretty easy without dying. No life steal in that build. If you don't have 4 pieces of IK armor, replace call of the ancients with war cry.
Edit: here it is http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/eclap78-2549/hero/4215472
They also hotfixed in an exp nerf on the skeletons iin CotA and a few other places too. Effectively killing off any exp runs.
Good! Btw http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/13407839/
So D3 will be available on the night of release, and there will be no need to re-log to play RoS. Blizzard recommend logging in early and stay logged in to avoid queues.
So are there any benefits for preordering now or I can just wait for release?
Other than getting the wings of valor, nope.
I did a Cota run last night and got 50mil exp on a single run on T5. It's still pretty viable
It's actually worse than that. It seems big HP mobs are affected by the nerf as well when they shouldn't be, for example the big mobs in the Depths. They broke more than they intended to.
People are also reporting that the XP buff no longer works at 60.
I heard that the hotfix wasn't implemented until this morning.
that would explain it.
If you pre-order you might look nearly as cool as me (wings).
Is there any list of item values? Havent been playing diablo3 since forever and without AH there is no way to know what items to look for. What website would have that kind of guide?
Just gear as you go, replace items with better drops
Doesn't have all equipment though, definitively doesn't have all level 70 gear yet.
As you can see equipment is pretty random so even set items and legendary gear can offer a wide range of different properties.
Don't forget that you can now also press CTRL when hovering over a item and it'll display the full range of the stats.
(Which for me so far has usually been low-end damage and primary attribute and usually maxed out secondary statistics and other bonuses.)
EDIT: Oh and items now scale, this dropped for me a few days ago as a level 60 axe.
Well in that case it seems no point in waiting for RoS for leveling up my char..
Yea, I got a a legendary bow that suppose to be level 50 but it was dropped as level 60. I hope the crafted version also able to scale.
Haven't touched D3 in 2 years, found my Barbarian woefully under-dpsing. What's the best way to balance dps/toughness nowadays? I'm still sitting around 50k HP, (9K armor, 1050 all resist buffed with warcry), but my dps is only 26k. My one-hander is a 1150 dps weapon.
Crafted items do not scale with your level.
Vxheous you probably want to go for at least 80k DPS and about 600k+ toughness to 'farm' (as in, kill stuff really fast with no chance of death) Torment 1.
Well, I have about ~600 toughness right now, but unsure about how to actually get my dps up
Get better weapons worth slots, get crit hit chance, crit damage, attack speed etc. It's really easy
