DFI DK P35-T2 audio problems

    Got this board running fine aside from the sound device working.

    With the drivers provided with the disk and the ones off DFI's site, after installation and a reboot, I go to control panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > and it says " No audio device " ...

    I have enabled " HD Audio " in the BIOS, same thing.

    Any ways to fix? :X

    Verify you are using the right drivers for this soundchip. You can check the chip # and maker and maybe goto the makers website. Maybe even a bios update.
    I suggest disabling it and putting in a quality soundcard. Many onboard soundchips seem to have nothing but troubles and usually don't sound very good in comparison to a quality PCI or PCI-E soundcard.
