whyyyyy, why it has to end?!
And the reason for this to be on the news section of a technology site/forum?
Hate to say it, as much as I love Dexter, it peaked a while ago and I feel it's run it's course.
This is the pub, nothing wrong here. And yeah dexter peaked two years ago, but gosh its a good series.
I hope they end it well..... Last two season sucked.
Freakin love this show, can't wait.
Because like other shows its way past its prime, and has reached the point where the writers don't seem to be trying anymore. IMO, I don't think shows (especially good ones) should go past at most 6 seasons, as after that the writing begins to suffer a horrible drawn out death.
I moved it here.
And yes it's a good thing it's ending. The last few seasons have all been terrible.
I never finished season 6 because I got bored with the show. Time to let it go while it still has dignity left.
I think Dexter has been terrific viewing, although season 6 was the weakest but still entertaining. I thought season 7 was great myself, particularly the change in relationship between Deb and Dexter, and while I'd love the series to last as long as possible, I'd rather it ended on high instead of being dragged out needlessly. The events of season 7 pretty much mean that it had to end in season 8 really; the question just how will it end. I can't see it being a happily ever after kind of ending so I expect Dexter will die or be arrested. Not that I want it to end that way but it does seem inevitable IMO.
I had to stop watching a while back because Deb was so annoying. I vomit when she slept with Lundy.
I could see him being arrested again, but by whom is the question, as LaGuerta is dead, and who else knew what he was up to besides Deb? She couldn't as she's just as guilty now and Dexter could implicate her. Matthews does, but doesn't seem to care what Dexter does because he was friends with Harry Morgan.
dokes died the series died
It has really dragged on, it's about time they ended it.
He is no longer the same lovable serial killer since he abandoned the code.
Really? bad day mate?
Anyways, I never got into the show and the fact that everyone and I mean EVERYONE I know who has said it went to **** at the end leaves me from ever even attempting to watch it.
I know I should give it a try sometime and probably will :3
I wouldn't say it went to ****, the show always remained watchable and entertaining.
It's true it peaked with Season4, but that was such a good one that it was hard to follow.
It didn't help that 5 and 6 suffered from quite weak "baddies" though 7 was a slight improvement though.
As per most, while i'm happy it finishing, i will still be sad when the last every episode is over.
last season I thought was good....Season 5 / 6 that's another story.
Season 4 (John Lithgow - Trinity) is by FAR the best season of the series with Season 2 being a close second followed by the opening season.
Agreed, the last 2 seasons haven't been nearly as good imo.
