anyone know how to use those red skulls? and pulling off the longer combos is really hard with a keyboard haha.

You'd use them to buy green orbs (health), elixirs, devil trigger refills and whatnot, but since there aren't any statues to purchase these items from in the demo, collecting the red orbs is useless atm.

You really couldn't do it...>_> The way the fixed camera operates, if it didn't, I could see a possibility.

Played at 1680x1050, with everything on super high, as well as 8x msaa in dx10, and everything runs flawlessly

Superb port, game is stable and runs very nice, looks good doing so as well. This seems to be the 'norm' (with GRID in mind) as of late, lol. Pretty much dictates you will use a game pad, though I already had been using one since they are a must with racing games. I will say the 360 controller is the best one I have ever used, glad to see it has it's place on my PC.

Unfortunately this is not my type of game at all, but for those that like this kind of game, enjoy it:)

Question. There are 2 downloads, one for the Demo and another is a benchmark demo. I noticed the Demo already has a benchmark option as well, are they the same thing? I will fire up this game from time to time to test performance so I want to know if I'm better off with the benchmark only download or is the demo (includes a benchmark as well) one in the same.

anybody with color issues in the DX10 version, should check the drivers, I installed the 175.80 and got that problem, I then installed the 175.16 WHQL and the color issue disappeared

Just tried the benchmark (Does the DX10 mode have a limit to the res you can use? I couldn't go beyond 1366 x 768, but could use 1680 x 1050 on DX 9.0c).

Using my rig (See specs for details), I easily got an S rank on both DX10 using 1366 x 768 with 4xAA, making the game look awesome, and just got an S rank on DX 9.0c mode using 1680 x 1050 with 2xAA, the game looked sick in both cases.

Yet another great PC port for Capcom, I borrowed the 360 version from a friend, but I may buy this for PC, I have a wired 360 pad too, so this would be the "definitive" DMC4 experience :D :D :D

The game really isn't that much of a demanding game, so if you can't run it on your computer(unless you had like an Xpress200 like I had), then you REALLY need to upgrade. It's nice on the PC, the keyboard controls are really stupid though. So for this game, you basically must have a control pad to enjoy it fully.

actually, the game is NOT a port. Its originally developed for the PC and was only ported to the consoles. One of the reason that it was being released late is because of extensive testing for different hardware configs for the PC.

Afaik the game was developed all the way up for the Framework engine which already runs on PS3, 360 and PC. So none of the versions were "ports" in the strictest sense and they all run very, very well.

Decent game, runs well too, but it should as much of the gameplay requires 60fps for the more advanced combos etc. 720p, 4x AA, 16x AF, S Rank and a 360 pad (although I may use a PS2 pad as I find it more comfortable for these kind of games) and, as has been mentioned, the PC version should be the definitive experience. Unfortunately most console owners have already clocked the game and I refuse to put myself through it again for moderately better visuals. :(

1600 x 1200 , all settings 'super high' and C16xQ AA (highest). How come some are benching with only 8x or less ?

If you're going to do it it at least run it at max...right? :)

What have you guys used to take screenshots of the score screen? If I use RivaTuner or just hit 'Print' all I get is a completely black screen.
